SJMC Desert 100 race 2024

This is as much of the first lap as my GoPro would capture. Made is almost to the first road crossing before the battery died, which over there was pretty fun! Was super excited for the race as this was the first time doing it. Was feeling really good after the first lap, came through the pit and gassed up quickly. Took off again, but after about 10 miles on the second lap, like a light switch, my body had had enough! I was super slow, and sore for the last 40 miles or so, got passed by a lot of people but that's ok. What a great time and was super happy to finish! Physically and emotionally lol. I thought I was in pretty good shape, I found out I was wrong! Looking forward to next year and some more endurance races this year!

nice ride ,remember you got a 100 miles pace that 1st 50 ,i saw a lot of green flat just off the mine trail in a lot of aeras ,hit those saves some beatings on the body go fast were you can and slow were you can't go fast..
