OMG! Never heard "Johnny B. Goode?" One of the most iconic tunes in rock. This live video is not the best version, but there is no bad Chuck Berry. This song is included on a disc (made of gold, no less) sent to space with the Voyager mission. Chuck Berry is literally one of our ambassadors to the stars.
This is excellent reaction, Chuck Berry was one of the pioneers, he was responsible for that intro he uses in Johnny b. Goose and the other songs he plays, you should do a reaction on Johnny Winters version of Johnny B. Goode in 1970, he did an excellent cover!!
Chuck is an entertainer and great to watch, one of my dads fave too, he always played this one , I grew up listening to his music even though it was long before my time lol, got my love of music from my dad,
He is the Rock‘ Roll Guitar Master. In the 70‘s he had an Number one Song. With My Ding a Ling! Roll over Beethoven, School Days, Johnny B. Goode, Sweet little Sixteen.....
You have probably heard many Chuck songs. Other bands loved to cover his musics The Roling stones and the Beatles. The guy was so dam good racists listened to him. The best concert I ever saw!

OMG!!! Chuck Berry wrote DOZENS of songs considered rock & roll classics. Every garage band for 60 years have played Chuck Berry. His music is still on thousands of juke boxes and on the sound tracks of dozens, maybe 100s of movies. Both the Beatles and the Rolling Stones worshipped Chuck and covered many of his songs. I can't imagine a rock band anywhere who aren't directly or indirectly influenced by his prolific genius even if they don't realize it. So many of his guitar riffs and lyrics are just amazing. Simple but so eloquent. Entertaining, toe tapping, get up and dance music. Chuck was born, raised, lived and died in St. Louis, MO and played there until the very last year of his life. He was for me the greatest rock and roller ever and I got to see him live in a small club twice. He was getting up in years but still had that twinkle in his eye and a few good licks left. It's hard to overstate his influence on the music that followed him.
As much as I love and admire Elvis, and what he has done for being one of the greatest pioneers of the birth of Rock & Roll. The true King of Rock & Roll in my humble opinion is the great legendary singer/songwriter Chuck Berry. Great post and reaction to the True King Of Rock & Roll...
Chuck Berry is an American treasure who was on the forefront of Rock N Roll. He was a big influence on all the early rockers like the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Animals, The Kinks and so on. He really was a showman. Enjoy your journey into his music.
