Third battle for Kharkov, 'Donets campaign'.

A winter diorama depicting soldiers of the II SS Panzer corps in February 1943 and the build up for the third battle for Kharkov. Some of the Stug and Panzer crews of General Paul Hausser's panzer brigades take refuge in a Ukrainian cottage. Stug III ausf G is a kit from Takom, with figures from Miniart and Dragon and some modifications. Traditional cottage is scratch built from balsa wood and sisal rope was used for the thatched roof. All other ingredients were collected from the bush. Kind regards Lindsay.
