Stamping Over Gel Polish

- I recently reviewed some gel polishes and I kept this particular color on my nails for over a week, which is a miracle for me. I decided it would be a good opportunity to test the ability to stamp over the gel and then I "recycle" the base for another design. Nope, this one was on me. I have done that a couple of times in the last several videos. I don't blame anyone else for my butterfingers. It made things so much easier to just remove the design. Now if I could only train myself not to get sick of the base colors in less than a week. LOL

Thanka for this video.. I'm brand new to gel polish but I love stamping ans i wasn't exactly sure how to use it with gel before seeing this video
hi i have a question please, you cured your gel base color added a gel top coat removed the tacky layer and then stamped with regular black stamping polish then top coat with gel top coat? is that correct? and do you use regular stamping polishes to stamp on gel polish?
Jiggalicious27 I believe she was using regular stamping polish over a gel top coat (that has the tacky layer removed). I think she said that she used a “gel like top coat” over the stamped polish. Hope this helps!

What is the name of the plate that you said you are using for us beginner stampers? Beautiful!!
April, this is an Ejiubas plate. Here is the link. www.amazon.com/Ejiubas-Stamping-Mysterious-Mandala-Double-sided/dp/B06XSHN5D7. This is a great starter plate for beginners. Their plates are deeply etched so you don't have to work as quickly. 😊

@@brandibishop2142no problem. Ejiubas has a ton of beautiful plates on Amazon. I have never had an issue picking up one of their images and I have nearly all their plates.
i was just wondering can i use different brand colors of the gel polish with the gel polish kit i own or is it different process with different brands thank you love your nails so pretty!
Brandi, thank you so much for your sweet comment. I'm definitely not a gel expert but I mix and match my gel brands all the time. I think most lamps these days are UV/LED. I would definitely read to see if they tell you not to in the manual, though.
okay thank you so much! :) i just got a new gel color tonight from the brand sensations :) i love doing my nails have you ever tried powder nails and if so does it work pretty good and last i found a nice kit at walmart for $20 but i was like eh not sure about spending that much and not sure if id like powder nails

Can I use gel nail polish with my stamper?
I know that Moyra makes a stamping gel. I have never stamped with gel but I do know it's possible.
