I absolutely love that Festool keeps building on its 18v platform. I have so much confidence in my purchase because I know these batteries will last and last across the whole platform!

What are the biggest baseboard and crown moldings it can cut?

I’m not fond of so-called “shadow lines”, in any case. I would rather adjust against a hard bevel gauge or miter guide. Overall, great tool.

I have not taken my KSC 60 out of the box yet but it seems as though you should be able to loosen the arbor screw without lifting
the blade guard? Seems like a lot of moving parts.

I would love to see how to calibrate the detents, can't seem to find any info on that. Mine are just a hair off and I really don't feel like sending it in for that.

I bought milwaukees cordless mitre saw back in like 2016 that had it too. It's a rather old technology but I like it. I do have the 780 now but looking for better dust collection

The battery system for festool seems to be coming on leaps and bounds, I have some corded festool tools and I'm concidering making a lot more purchases but I need some advice.
I like the dependability of corded tools so I'm concidering purchasing the power hub in a systainer rather than purchase cordless tools and simply have extra batteries to hand.
    Whats the best advice?
Stick with buying corded tools and have the power hub for when I need to be cordless such as on site so I can just plug in a transformer, or just go cordless and be done with it?

Oh man I can't say enough how happy you'll be with the use of the cordless versions. For example many of the people i work under have the corded versions. I have the cordless versions just being younger and them more relevant to my first tool purchases. But these guys get so used to rather grabbing my tools over there corded ones that they keep making the switch and buying cordless. Mind you we work in the field as well as in the shop.

@@FreeLander5280that's good advice. Since you have the cordless and your workmates have the corded version that makes you guys experts to answer this question.
Can the cordless version do everything its bigger corded version does?
Can it cut crown mouldings for example?

120 will be worth the extra money. It’s a really good crown saw and I don’t think you’ll be able to cut crown with this saw

If you do any big base or big crown, you’ll want the 120
