Gotta admit. This is easily my new favorite hero. He’s exactly what I wanted back in the days when paragon was still going
I find it funny that he blocks Murdock's attacks. The hero who previously had a shield ability.
I miss Murdock's old riot shield, it was such a cool-looking ability.
I miss that cop siren passive he had when the enemy was close to dying

From the teaser card art I was like "why is his shield so tiny?" But y'all deliver! I LOVE the combination of the "unfolding" shield animation and the barricade ability/AA's. It really showcases the lore and his character as an efficient, advanced, and deadly warrior.
That leap animation is also clean as heeellll.
The shield bash AA animation (body movement, mainly) seems a bit lacking in "umph" compared to his other awesome abilities. Also, while I LOVE the spear coloring indicating out-of-combat vs. in-combat, I think the color change animation could use a little upgrade (like a glow or something that could even help represent the number of stacks gained/consumed)
I feel he has a very Achilles from Troy vibe, the mirmidons used small shields bruh

Going to honest that looks like a Paragon character. It feels styled in that world, and I can see how the Murdock skin brought the textures in to make it fit with the original paragon models. Looking good guys keep them coming.
I love that he has different auto attack animations. The lack of repetitiveness really makes characters look more fluid. Can't wait to see more Omeda's orginal heroes. Crossing my fingers to see an enchanter support soon 💕💕
Imo it would be better if they at least had 10 animations and not in the same order. 2 still feels a bit robotic.

@@Cryonic13 none lmao. 2 is beter thn 1, but I was talking about every champion. 1 or 2 animations feels very robotic, i know it means more work tho.
@@valentin7693It have 3 different, one attacking with the spear with one hand, other stacking with both hands and a third stacking with the shield
@@muglokdecrepitus1301 dont get me wrong tho, love this game and I'm not talking shit about it, but the spear attack is always the same movement, the shield attack is always the same movement. I feel like it would feel more realistic if each spear attack is a bit diferent from the prevoius one, same whith the rest

Ok Omeda! Kira was a pretty decent hero release in terms of aesthetic, but you guys really turned it up!

All jokes aside, what an exciting kit Zarus has to bring to the Predecessor roster! I can finally 1v1 someone without them running away!
i have been a fan of paragon and learned so much from watch nibori back in the day. To now have him so involved in predecessor and NOW.. voices a character in the game that continues to hold the torch for paragon?!🤯😵💫 Such a full circle moment. 🤗
I'm continually impressed with how amazing these Omeda original heroes are. Feels like an amazing execution of easy to learn, but hard to master! Keep up the great work! Can't wait for F2P so I can share this amazing game with friends.

@PredecessorGame Honestly looks 10/10 love the amount of skill expression thought and detail both visualy, in his kit design and vfx. Can't wait to hear more of his voice and sound design in game.
Also was wondering if you have plans to: 1. Add uniquely modeled jungle camps before full release
And 2. Add some of the paragon legacy/ practice map visuals to the jungle. I know you've said you like the overall dusk Dawn aesthetic but I feel like the jungle needs a bit more work with all due respect, even just incorporating the jungle flowers and make it feel more jungle like.
His movement looks a little floaty... Besides that he looks great.

Visually speaking - looks amazing. Can't even think about arguing on that. Sadly it's another hero that has a click-on-someone-to-deal-damage ability and it's his ult... Probably also deals massive damage just like Morigesh and Belica. Can't get the idea of having so many abilities that deal damage just by pressing them, but I guess people like it.

You mean a single-target-lock-on ability being his ult is an issue? It’s not so rare to see. Sure they have the Z axis to exploit but doesn’t mean ults HAVE to use it. People forget this is a team based game. Also stasis is a thing. Should maybe be more accessible but still. If you look his ult doesn’t do much damage for an ultimate. People really need to do some hw on mobas bc lock on’s aren’t necessarily a bad thing. His sort of like jarvan in a way. Notice how his target was the only enemy in his ult? I’m sure it’s a “wall” so neither players can enter or leave. Could very well be a double edge sword.
The ult only does 150-349 damage in this video (where he's really fed) so it really isn't much damage for an ultimate
I love the character and kit but is there a cripple effect on the ult to keep people in to box or is it kinda like a dekker cage?
Looks like it acts as a large dekker cage so allies can walk through but enemies cannot
nice we finally get a Pantheon/ Mordkeiser hero from league and Mars from Dota 2. I wonder if you can flash/blink threw his ult dome.
I'll leave a constructive criticism here. For the next unique heroes, think of less predictable heroes. Zarus looks super cool but is anthropomorphic with only human abilities and a Supreme Dekker 2.0. I understand that you want to make it easier for new players to introduce Predecessor, but heroes with simple mechanics already exist from the original Paragon, Greystone, Khaimera, Grux, Serath, etc.
It's time to overcome the talent you have!

I was a Dekker main back in Paragon so seeing that he basically has her ult is nice. But does this mean Dekker isn’t in the game? I haven’t really been keeping up with the progress of this game.
Will there be a founders pack for Playstation? Id like to back the new paragon.
Is there training mode, custom matches vs friends or AI and also can we complete dailies and progress through custom matches too or we are forced to do them via compettitive matches like Overprime?
Zarus dekker and any aoe mage or carry is going to be soo strong

Visually he doesn't seem like much more than a generic fantasy lizard man or kobold, but his gameplay looks fun.

His abilities and character design look awesome. However my thoughts on his dash ability are 1) did the dash really need to also increase his movement speed? And 2) isn’t there a more creativity name for the ability than just “evade”? Lol
