  • Milena Reljin was born in 1967 in Belgrade, SR Serbia, Yugoslavia. During her career Reljin won a record 9 consecutive Yugoslav Senior National Titles, from 1981 to 1989.
    She started rhythmic gymnastics at age 9 with a school friend in 1977. By 1980 she was the Yugoslavian Junior National Champion, and she went on to become Yugoslavia's most successful rhythmic gymnast.
    Milena attended 2 Olympic Games, placing 5th all-around in 1984, and 9th AA in 1988. She attended her first world championships in 1981, placing 17th int he all-around.
    Milena is now married with 3 children, and the owner and head coach of her gym, Ritam, where she coaches around 400 gymnasts. Milena also works as an international judge.
