For those who say Bruce had no ground game please watch the opening sequence in Enter the Dragon where he puts Sammo Hung in a Crucifix and taps him out. Also Chinese Connection probably had the first Arm Bar in a movie, when the majority of fighters didn't know what an Arm Bar was. Oh and don't forget the strike to the top of Sammo Hung's foot decades before we say the first foot stomp in the UFC. Bruce vs DJ for the Flyweight Title. Damn would love to see that one.
I watched "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" and now I'm convinced Chow Yun Fat can scale walls, fly above trees and shoot chi balls outta his eyes.

PHILLYBIRDS100 NO SHIT he was an actor. The whole point is that they can program some grappling for him because he had started learning ju jitsu before he passed away. Just like movies GAMES aren't real either. I agree he isn't a father of MMA that was a marketing stretch but he still was a real martial artist, a father for bringing traditional martial arts to the west & that is not fake.

he never fought professionally and never would because he didn't want to. bruce lee is an iconic figure and really nothing more. his abilities are very exaggerated, and it's kinda ridiculous of what some people hold him up to be. his training regime is publicly known and it's not fantastic as some people would assume. it's above normal, but not even comparable to today's athletes. I'm sure he would do fine if he was born in this time and wanted to fight professionally, but he would not be the greatest fighter ever.
85-90% of the whole ufc roster? every weight class? i don't think you realize how important weight is, and how differently fighters fight in different weight classes, and the level of talent in the ufc, i mean you've got to be kidding me. intelligence, speed, power, physical abilities. the way the UFC has shaped out it has more than plenty of athletes that could do what bruce lee could do, and guess what? they can do it in an actual fight. it's easy for bruce lee to give lectures on mma and show "intelligence", but what about his intelligence in a fight? what if he's down a round and needs to formulate a game plan to get back into winning position, what if he gets clipped and has to maintain his composure and strategy even when he's hurt. it's easy for him to do crazy moves in movies but not in a real fight. there are no consequences for making a mistake in a movie, but in mma you get knocked out for it. and yes, given his social status and how many people look up to him his abilities are exaggerated. I've seen the 10 fps videos where he shows his "speed", but it is really just a frame skipping. he's fast but not that fast. and how can you observe power when he has never knocked anyone out, never truly showed it. like bruce lee said himself," boards don't hit back." you are assuming how he would do, but it's impossible to tell because he never fought, and anything formulated from that knowledge would be ignorant. how is his takedown defense? his takedowns? his jj? we don't know if he'd be good at it. so yes, he is exaggerated and that's fine, except for when people call him the GOAT, and they do. that's disgusting that people would give that credit to someone who didn't even fight, and take it away from the fighters who deserve it. jon jones, jose aldo, GSP, renan barao, anderson silva, cain velasquez. those are the true greats. and one more thing? have you seen his public training records? you can look it up. he ran 3 miles in 17 minutes something. i'm a junior in high school, and in XC i run faster than that. and that's just one example.
Christian Newby you know that lee was fighting real. back in the days he fights with guys who use knives or some other weapons. he's not just a martial arts actor, he's a real fighter and had the real spirit. sorry for my english its sucks ^^
I'm not content with how many points of mine you left uncontested, and, well i'm not some blind sheep so ya i need some evidence. there really isn't any. the only officially known fight involving bruce lee was with wong jack man, probably the most controversial fight you'll ever find. google it. but ya know, this world would be great if we could just assume everything. it'd be so easy. and i don't really understand what," there are many stories about martial artist, but if you mean stories about him fighting, get me some of those. i'm pretty excited to hear them. ya know what else is a story, peter pan. not the best place for cited and legitimate information.

You will not need to pre-order again, nor do you need to pre-order to get Bruce Lee. The pre-order voucher will simply just allow you to have Bruce on Day 1. If you did not pre-order, you can still unlock Bruce by completing the Career Mode on "Pro."

This is from the studio that made Fight night, which is a bummer, because I really wanted a new boxing game from them.
Especially one with a PC version.
they have already said the ufc games will come out every other year not every year so its safe to say the nest fight night will be out in 2015 and the next ufc will be out in 2016

There's no way he's joking, Bruce had the speed and the strength to take on everyone there and win without breaking a sweat.
I'm a big fan of Bruce Lee but seeing as he has no solid feats, just word of mouth. The best he'd do is bantam/feather/lightweight. Saying he'd beat everyone is stupid, especially with ufc rules.

He knew the body's joints and kinematics as well as any wrestler, but no one could get close enough for him to be forced to show it. And don't forget his 1 and 3 inch punches. He could generate so much force with only 1 inch of distance ...
EA SPORTS Please show us footage of an actual fight, meaning how it will ACTUALLY LOOK when I am fighting someone. These "gameplay" video's of close up shots and wierd camera angles are deceiving. I want to see REAL GAMEPLAY!!!

and why exactly would they show "real" game play. Could you imagine if the UFC showed fights and highlights using a fixed camera angle? It doesn't help promote the game.

Jayson Chen The only reason it wouldn't promote the game is because EA has a rep for rushing unfinished games.. and the only way their games look good is by doing "highlight-type" videos. A good gameplay video would be more influential, in my oppinion.

Bruce Lee has always been good for martial arts business and marketing. Dana White knew this when he coined the phrase: "Bruce Lee is the father of Mixed Martial arts." So it doesn't surprise me that Bruce is now part of UFC. What bugs me is that even after what the UFC has proven, we still have fanboys who say ignorant things like "Bruce Lee could defeat every UFC fighter." Really?... Isn't this a return to chi blasts and unrealistic thinking? It's really funny how the skill set of Bruce Lee is continually expanding to compensate for any flaws he might have had. Not only is he regarded as the best striker in the universe, Bruce Lee is now a competent grappler who can hold his own against UFC grapplers. smh
Seems like you are in denial. Bruce Lee was WAY a head of his time back in the day, encoporating striking AND grappling, amongst other things in to his fight regime. He studied judo, aikido locks, and wrestling takedowns. If you watch his movies, he demonstrates many of these skillsets which he added into fight scenes. He was an atheltic specimen who was obsessed with martial arts. In terms of his fighting ability and how it compares to now, that's a silly question since the man has been dead for over 30 years. What is important is his philosophy on fighting, training, conditioning, and work ethic, which highly represents what the modern MMA fighter does now a days. You don't have to like Bruce Lee, but you have to respect how much he changed the concept of hand to hand combat.

Wait wasn't this coming to PC? I read an interview where one of the devs said so and it was like big news that the PC was finally getting a UFC game. I don't mind getting it for consoles I just don't have the money to invest in a PS4 at the moment. Doubt I could even find a place that has it in stock :P
