      Rock was a throw away from my friend Roy. He gave it to me and it turned out nice for this landscape. Stay well and enjoy your cup of tea. Tom

      I will Cherie and thank you. This morning it hit 48F/9C with a cold wind. I walked the dogs and now I am baking some bread in the oven. They have bread that you pop in the oven and just bake, a Rosemary bread. Stay warm also and enjoy a nice relaxing weekend. Have a nice cup of tea with your mom. I know she enjoys your company. Tom

    Great advice on purchasing trees especially as beginners... When I started I fell victim to that and learnt the costly way..

      Thank you, Banner. I think we all learned the hard way, but that is the way we learn. Have a nice relaxing evening with a cup of tea. Tom

      Thank you, Dave. I was happy to give one to you. It was great to see you. I know you can make a nice little bonsai out of it. I think your wife will like the color of the leaves once it is in full sun. Enjoy a relaxing Sunday and a cup of tea later in the day. Tom

    The flower is coming along nicely. The geranium makes for a nice easy bonsai.

      It does, Steve. I planted the cutting and will see if it roots over the winter months. I left some radishes in a pot outside. Small and no bulb. With the cold the top shriveled buy still green. I just want to see if it will come back and grow. Hoping for a great harvest for your onions. Enjoy a relaxing weekend and a cup of tea later. Tom

      Thank you, James. 48F/9C this morning with a cold wind. I found a bread at Pete's to bake in the oven and I am doing that now for my wife and I for our morning coffee. It is a Rosemary bread that I seen so I am giving it a try. I hope the weather is better for you. Stay well, have a nice weekend and enjoy a relaxing cup of tea tonight. Tom

      Thank you, Marysol. You can get it in Canada. Ask Jay from Blue Jay Bonsai where he bought his at. That would be a nice one for you to grow. Have a nice relaxing night with a cup of tea. Tom

      @growclipbonsaiforseniors1951 Yes, they become available in my area in late spring. I might pick one up in 2025. I was worried because I lost all my geraniums in the same two weeks. One was 16 years old. I was afraid a new one could suffer the same fate.

    That's a great rock, and I love the crane too. I'm gonna head to Ted's in the spring and get a vancouver geranium!

      Thank you, Suzy. The rock came with the crane when my friend gave me this since the pot it was in at his shop broke. Great! Call and make sure they are available. I went to late in the year, and they were sold out. I like being at Ted's. A world of different plants to see. Stay well and enjoy a relaxing cup of tea tonight. Tom

    Beautiful geranium bonsai, I love the lime green color of its leaves. And I've noticed your new arrangement in your work area sir Tom. It's more beautiful now than before. It's more organized now, so nicely decorated. Good job sir Tom. Happy New Year's to you and your family.

      Thank you, Alma. The color on the leaves is in the low light in the basement. Once in the sun it gets a vibrant lime green and maroon color in the leaves. I decorated for Christmas and then I have to clean again for the next year holidays. Always something to do. Stay well and enjoy a relaxing Sunday with the family and a cup of tea later in the day. Tom

    You did those same seeds in 2022. I assume they didn't make it? Better luck this time. Pretty plant.

    • @growclipbonsaiforseniors1951
      @growclipbonsaiforseniors1951  6 днів тому

      Thank you, Scott. Yes, nothing grew. I don't know if it were the seeds or the soil. I am going to try again. Hopefully these seeds will be viable. Richard W. Bender from his book: Bountiful Bonsai, gave me this idea as he grew this thyme and wrote what a nice looking bonsai it made. I will plant these seeds in the spring, when the weather is a bit nicer and then see if they will sprout. My tea seeds never grew either. The seeds viability? Unknown. I guess we all take a chance in buying the seeds. Thank you for the reminder of the year I did it in. Stay well and enjoy a nice relaxing weekend and a cup of tea. Tom
