My favourite furry vns are Adastra, Echo, The smoke room, far beyond the world , extracurricular activites and tennis ace .
I also like playing animal crossing, skyrim with a furry mod to make all races animals and also furry mod for stardew valley.

Probably the only furry game I know of that's good and that isnt a dating sim is Dust: An Elysian Tail.
That's a good one. Saw my friend play it during a convention a few years ago and decided to try it myself. Lots of fun.

@@TheGlowingBeansGuy Rivals of Aether is more of an MLP game and Super Animal Royal is just a cute take on the battle royal genre so I don't think either of them qualify as furry games as not all MLP fans are furries. If you're looking for good furry games on steam I would highly recommend Pirate's Fate, Familiar Travels, and Armello. One is a chose your own adventure game with romance and loads of endings, the other is a graphic novels with romance and multiple endings that has an overarching plot, and the last one is a turn based strategy game. All excellent choices.

Honestly? the whole "My Furry" series isnt bad. ther short yes but they ar great. also the artist did one hell of a job, everything looks amazing too!

A game I can't recommend enough is Small On Top. It's not finished yet, but is very fun. It is an RPGM game with actual combat, leveling and equipment. It has a strong focus on sex, and exclusively features DILFs. The characters are interesting and the story is fun (so far). The only downside for some people might be that it only features M/M, but if the other furry games I've seen so far are any indication, I don't that has stopped anyone before.

One of my favorite games that I kind of consider a “furry game” is a game called Cattails. It’s basically Stardew Valley but with cats instead of people. I think it could be one since one of the main intended audiences is the Warrior cats fandom (the dev also made Warrior Cats Untold Tales), which is a fandom that made a heck ton of people realize they are furries.

Furry games vs Furry-bait games is probably the simplest divider I can come up with.
One that got recommended to me recently is Rivals of Aether. A fighter game with anthro characters split up in 4 factions based on elements.

I feel like it's better to not market your game as a "furry" game. Some of the best games with furry charatcers have a very wide audience. Sonic the Hedgehog, Sly Cooper, Rivals of Aether, etc. By marketing your game as a furry game, you start to pidgeon hole yourself way more than you should.

I feel like a lot of these "furry" games are marketed towards people who think being a furry is a full time hobby. Or a personality trait.
The best "furry" game I've ever played was Echo.
Agree echo was my second furry game I play and one of the best I play so far.

6:47 As much as I like Tribal Hunter, I'm goning to have to disagree with you about it possibly being a normie game. I showed it to some of my normie friends, and most of then were pretty put off by it. I'm perfectly fine with it, and I know some others would be perfectly fine with it. But I think it crosses that line by just tiny bit to be out of range of normies.
Angels with Scaly Wings at least used to market itself as a dating sim, but it's really a convoluted story about time travel and trying to stop the apocalypse twice. It also has a sequel that I think is coming out some time next year and has a really ominous trailer.

You should play Major\Minor or/and Winds of Change, these are great games in my opinion.
Fun fact! Amorous is how I got my very first oc ever! It's been almost 4 years and the only thing that changed was the gender, and only because when playing through we wanted to have the most fed run through with an intersex, pansexual, dogish cat thing. I didnt even change the color scheme 😭
Pirates Fate and Winds of Change are great furry games. Also Dust: An Elysian Tale. There's no way that game wasn't intended for a furry audience but maybe that's just me.
He didn't even bother to check out the most top tier furry game: Wild Animal Racing! According to the tags, it has sexual content, FPS, AND it's a Cold War psychedelic trip! And you know it's good because it has people that have played it for 14,000 hours!

You can make Stardew Valley a furry game. There's a couple of mods. One turns the people in town into anthros, another one makes your character an an athro. You just have to pick which species you want for the latter and manually install it because it's technically out of date and it won't run through a mod manager.
Uses Amorous in the thumbnail, doesnt say a word about it. C'mon.
Fun fact: Amorus creator did shitty stuff to his friends all because he and his girlfriend at the time didn't want to pay rent. It gets worse along the way

I wanna learn unity and stuff like that to make a furry horror game. Think Changed meets SCP
Theory: If the game features anthro characters that tell a serious story/wants to be taken seriously, then it's for furries.
Evidence: Sly Cooper, Banjo-Kazooie, Super Lucky's Tale, Super Monkey Ball, Animal Crossing, Spy Fox, etc. don't take themselves too seriously. Games like Star Fox, Sonic, Kingdom Hearts, FNaF have seriousness to them.
I think Pokemon and Sam & Max walk a fine line between the two categories because they have themes that make it cater to both inadvertently (but you can argue the same for the non-serious titles, too).
I think it's an interesting thing to consider next time I'm in a video game store or whatever.

I had the chance to meet the creator of breeze this week at TFF, he had a demo available and just from the demo I know it's gonna be great.
Hey Beta, I have also been searching around the stretch of obtainable furry games out there and recently came across a game called, “Little Laughters”. This indie platformer with similar play style to that of Celeste, features you starring as a grinion (a laughing minion hellspawn who is a servant to the demonic master, Warai) whose goal is to travel the planet hunting down victims in which to frighten and steal their souls. The idea for the concept originally started as a web series on Newgrounds and recently became a full fledged game-project around 2 years ago. Currently, there is a demo available for the game and I thought maybe you might want to check it out. Even though this was a new discovery to me, I can tell that Skashi is a truly passionate creator as their quality output is outstanding. I can’t help but think that more people should know about their game as the reach seems to be very underground.
That all fun and dandy, but there's only one game that is obviously the number one furry game that is highly recommended. You damn well known what it is without making a joke.

hello beta, I've lurked your channel for a bit and now bring to you knowledge of Beast Breaker. its not a sliding block puzzle or dating sim. its a little like peggle. unfortunate its on epic game store
I mean, if you want a variety in terms of furry games, check out Rivals of Aether. The entire universe within that game is filled to the brim with literally nothing but furry characters, and that’s not including all of the custom characters in the game’s Steam workshop.
I count these as Furry, even if others don't. Darkstalkers, Bloody Roar, Undertale, Blacksad, Frog Detective, Animal Crossing (I said what I said), A Night In The Woods, Tail Concerto, and I'm sure there are other games with anthropomorphic characters.
Amorous is also a furry game too ( i'm not gonna say the further in details of it ) - Second Life aswell
Some of these games honestly have titles that are way too clickbaity. Wouldn't surprise me, really.
Funny enough, there are even more strange furry game type. It's only on Roblox (that popular game platform) and there are games that were inspired by "Changed".. These are strange. You are just walking around the map, collecting weapon, and then fight with furries.. Also you can become a furry by various transfurs.. I'm not really sure if these games can be allowed on Roblox, because this platform is for kids.

Roblox is made for Kids, Teens and adults but yeah, I've played those games before cuz I was curious
(Uselss fact: I now have voice chat on roblox, also i know more than 40-50% of roblox players are under the age of 13)
One of the best games that you either fight or become a furry (roblox) was Goo Animal Simulator (I think tats how u call/name it) but devs closed the game cuz it was getting very very popular, there were knifes, sledge hammers and much more
Roblox has a age rating system for games, All ages, 9+ and 13+ (gore etc)

Games where you can make and be your fursona without paying any money at all. VR Chat is lovely, but if you don’t know what you’re doing you don’t know what you’re doing. If you don’t know how to install mods than you don’t know how to download mods
And also, just chill with other furries stuff too. I’d love that. The idea of vr chat, with a town you can wander through, but the customization is simple yet detailed, and more species and patterns get added as the game gets older (so continuous updates)

If we’re talking games made by people that are involved with the fandom, sure. They are pretty same-ish. Which is why I choose to play the games that have nothing to do with the fandom, but the fandom still has strong ties with the characters.
