Thank you for the explanation. Happy Growing Guys!
Excellent work :) can't wait to see whats next in our space development program !!!
brilliant!
a huge step towards autonomous space stations!
Love it. You can't beat a fresh salad.
How long before they can grow an apple tree?
I'd be growing some high potency space pot
That is simply amazing to see, especially if one could eat actual fresh produce in space in lieu of the standard freeze dried MRE type foods. That must have been an astounding feeling on the ISS.
Totally wild!
I guess that it has to be pollination by hand, I can't see them bringing along the insects needed for pollinating the different kinds of vegetables and flowers.
Really cool stuff. I grow plants here on Earth and would love to be able to contribute to NASA's attempts at growing food in space. Where do I fill out a job application?
That's an expensive salad right there...
very cool! Dawn of the future
I love that LED magenta color. I found it soothing when I used to run my own hydro experiments.
did u do the planet alignment, of jupiter, mars and other planets?
Love this channel's videos, prep. for moving to mars
I just wanted to say thanks for making these videos. I am continually disappointed that some great informational video like this have few views and dumb videos get tons. I guess we all can look forward to the day when all videos on the internet will be "ow my balls" so thanks for efforts to keep it a little less idiotic!
"Veggie Payload Scientist" is a cool title. :)
i want to see how the latest flower bloomed in weightlessness.........
Why wouldn't it grow? It has light, water, oxygen so really why wouldn't it grow?
That must have been one expensive salad
*WhaoO*
For the flowering plants, what if they used a small bee colony, this would take care of the pollination and provide honey.
+Mansquatch312 it would be interesting to see bees fly in zero gravity :D
Aloha Yall
NASA please explore Saturn and Jupiter.
so in the future we will have the technology to grow plants on the moon for ex and make our beloved earth a full cities planet?
It would be cool to grow some trees
please try to grow a banana in space. i want to know whats gonna happen!
So who was the carnivore that voted "dislike"?
If you planted something in the space station, that means you colonized it?
:P
:-)
Mmmm Space station Brussels sprouts :)
did u do the planet alignment, of jupiter, mars and other planets?
very cool! Dawn of the future
