You could try a blind test. Get 3 bottles of something, number them, have someone put the CBD into one of them and mark down the number, then drink one each night without telling them which number you are drinking and then write down how you felt about each one and then reveal which number had it.
The original plan was a blind test but when I ended up getting the CBD oil they told me to take it by putting it under my tongue and there was no way to fake that in a way I wouldn't know. However, now I'm considering just taking it a different way and maybe then I can do that.
The thing is that cbd oil has a distinct taste. It would be hard to duplicate to do a blind test. It doesn’t just taste like oil, even the flavored ones. It tastes like ground up grass, dirt, plant material. The flavoring is added to try to make it tolerable to hold under the tongue.
Try not drinking. Alcohol is a sedative and doesn't actually help you sleep at all, and in fact will wear off, causing you to wake up in the middle of the night. Turn off half the lights before bed, and if you can, get color-changing leds to make the lights red around sunset. Also, stay off any electronic device at least 2 hours prior to sleeping, especially your phone. Meditation also helps (try a month of THAT). I also wouldn't do melatonin as it can downregulate your body's natural melatonin production.
I can't find any evidence that melatonin downregulates your body's normal melatonin production, and even if it did that wouldn't be a problem because there is no evidence indicating that you develop a tolerance to melatonin. Source: examine.com/supplements/melatonin/#safety-and-toxicity_tolerance
Yep, reading a bit before bed is OK, but no electronic devices. Keep the routine the same every night. Chris is right, alcohol mixed with any medication (even the natural kind) is not a good idea.
@@markkalsbeek5883 hes not on about a tolerance he's on about your body downscaling its own production of it, maybe after years of abuse though, just like taking testosterone supplements do, its a very long term affect that will become present once you end up growing older. i believe this is the case for all hormones but im no doctor or chemist so i cant say.
"Everything felt temporary." I get this so much. I'm so ready to put down roots. At age 36, I thought I would have already had a permanent dwelling where I could plant fruit trees and make quirky design choices like a bottle wall. But alas, it has escaped me thus far. I'm glad for you and Chyna that you're gonna be homeowners!
That is only if it is 100% pure cbd, most stuff people buy is hemp extract or "full spectrum" cbd, which has other cannibinoids and terpenes other than just cbd.
i did CBD and i felt good and relaxed and it was nice.. then i fell asleep and woke up and i felt crazy!!!!!!! everybody keeps telling me.. NO NO NO... it doesnt do that..but it did.
On the podcast Science Vs. on an episode about CBD they revealed that a study on CBD products from around the US had an average of 20% higher THC levels than declared on the packaging, as it is currently basically unregulated. Maybe you got actually a little high.
@@TheComfyGeek Sorry about that, here's the citation, hopefully can be found through copy+paste+Google: Bonn-Miller, M. O., Loflin, M. J. E., Thomas, B. F., Marcu, J. P., Hyke, T., & Vandrey, R. (2017). Labeling Accuracy of Cannabidiol Extracts Sold Online. JAMA, 318(17), 1708. doi:10.1001/jama.2017.11909 I don't know about the UK
Since most CBD products come from standard hemp, there's very little chance of the THC content being very high. Depends on the production method though.
Liam M-D I checked out the study you cited and it was quite interesting. However, it is worth clarifying that the study focused on online markets which are even less regulated and more rapidly changing. Additionally, the highest level of THC detected clocked in at less than 7 mg/mL when the standard dosage is usually around 10mg. While it is possible to feel some effects at 7mg/mL it's highly unlikely and, in Craig's case, I feel like the high was psychosomatic, as he himself said
Wow, happy this was recommended to me. I always took a lower concentrated oil and never felt anything. Then I took one that was 3x more concentrated and I had an immediate panic attack right afterwards.
Can you do a video about buying a house? That's one of those things nobody really teaches you, for some reason. The only think I really know is to find a good realtor, lol. I hope our future realtor is very patient...😂
It's pretty boring, you'll spend hours signing papers. Your real estate agent will guide you through most of the process, but you should know they make commission off the sale, so it is in their interest to have you buy, that means they may not have your best interest in mind and they may neglect to tell you something that they think could cost them the sale. It is very important that you hire your own home inspector, do *not* trust the bank's home inspector to be thorough, and any home inspector your real estate agent recommends could let some things go unsaid to help their agent friend, who brings them business, close the sale.
I just moved into my first house. My biggest tip is to find and meet with several realtors, and pick one based on what’s most important to you. For me, it was how fast and well they communicated and how frank they were about money. I’m in a “hot” market and you don’t have time to mess around. Recommendations from friends and family is great to get an interview list together, but I found my agent through Realtor.com. A good agent makes all the difference and they will be super helpful in answering all your questions and walking beside you through the whole process.
I'm an agent in Chicago. Realtor fees are paid for by the seller of the house not the buyer unless otherwise agreed upon. Yes it's in our best interest to have you buy but a good agent has enough business that they don't need to force you to do anything or be pushy in any way. If you are the buyer and feel like your agent is being pushy, find a new one who isn't. You usually have no contract with an agent as the buyer. Also a good agent should make the process fun and exciting. You're entering into a contract to buy something that costs 6-7 figures, yes you'll spend a couple hours signing papers but if it's the right home and he or she did their job, you'll be excited during the signing too. Finding a house should be fun. If it wasn't, either you, your agent, or the houses you were seeing were boring.
Best thing I found for a relaxed natural sleep (and I have tried many things) is the amino acid L-theanine. it is natural to the body, and it is supposed to suppress stress hormone production (cortisol, adrenal, etc.). Also valarian, L-trypotphane with it, and chamomile tea, right before bed.
Could have been the THC. There are CBD oils without or extremely small traces of THC but still have many beneficial properties. I'd be interested to know the ratio.
Hey Wheezy, I also have issues sleeping. Mainly falling asleep. So I tried CBD oil (2-3 drops). I didn't have the reaction you did, but it ended up helping with my anxiety and depression instead of my sleep. I now use a THC vape pen for my sleep, and it works very well. I use strictly Indica cartridges and the only effect I feel is REALLY SLEEPY. I know this route isn't for everyone, but it was the route I had to take. In the past I've used Doxylamine for sleep, and it's helped me some, but I always feel groggy in the mornings. So I'm grateful for my THC pen. I hope you find a solution soon! Sleep issues are horrible.
if you started to feel effect immidiately, it has nothing to do woth the oil but ruther has a lot to do with enxiety attack. immidiate effect comes only with smoking.
Make sure you CBD oil is THC free. Some CBD oils still include doses of THC which could be what your feeling. I really appreciate what CBD does for me but I'm not using it to sleep so to each there own.
I have similarly 'odd' reactions. I'm a chronic pain sufferer. I keep trying CBD periodically. I feel it makes me edgy, nervous like. Then, I'm in a crappy, lethargic mood the next day. Yet, EVERYbody says "It doesn't do anything. It has no psychological effects." Well, it does to ME! I don't care for the effects of cannabis on me either. But, I wholeheartedly believe it should be legalized everywhere, & can have positive effects for many.👍
My wife has Fibromyalgia and was on pain medication, daily. She started taking CBD capsules and it greatly improved her life. She stopped taking pain meds daily (only during occasional flare-ups). Even the blood tests showed a 50% decrease in count, sciencey-sciencey-thingy name. Some of my friends take it to sleep better, but it did not improve my sleep. I think it is different for every person. Just get it from a reputable source.
I'd be interested to know what dose you took that first time. I would highly recommend not taking more than a 5mg dose to start. I've seen a lot of products now recommending a 30-50mg starting dose and I think that's WAY too high for most people. Also, CBD itself does not make you sleepy. It does interact with receptors in the brain and can improve the brain's response to stress, which can lead to better sleep. Start small. If a 5mg dose doesn't make you feel gross, take that same dose for at least 3 days. Then you can do a small increase from there, again, taking it for 3 days.
I'd had the same experince and the stomach pain and nausia were as a result of it. I also found an increase in anxiety and had a very interrupted nights sleep with nightmares. I've been combing the internet for anyone else who's had a reaction like this.
yeah i been having weird vivid almost nightmares and i know its the cbd oil lmao so just now i done it again. only now i took a super small dosage. lets see how it goes
My wife’s bio-chemistry is a finely balanced thing. Our old downstairs neighbors, here in CA, were medicinal users. Catching that second hand stuff coming up through our windows have her headaches, upped her anxiety levels and left her feeling generally off. When you’re off, you just know it, and it’s not worth it to keep pushing if it makes you miserable.
You're not alone, I don't feel good with the plant either. Makes my heart rate increase and my head feels foggy and heavy. Kinda hard to describe. I think my body just has a bad reaction to the plant, no matter what level, I never get the euphoria or "mellow" feeling. Just uncomfortable.
CBD oil can act like a stimulant to a small percentage of people. It does it to me to. People who are prescribed it who also have this problem are told to take it once in the morning and once around lunchtime, instead of once in the morning and once before bed.
I’m sure everyone has said this but CBD is the compound that relaxes you. THC is the stuff that can make you feel high, out of it, and anxious. I think it was psychosomatic as you said. I have never smoked pot in my life. I get intense anxiety and sometimes panic attacks. I took CBD oil twice to help, doubling the dose the second time, and I don’t think it did anything. Maybe I felt a little relaxed? But that may have been a positive psychosomatic reaction.
if you ingest it it should take at least half an hour for you to metabolize and feel any effects. Sounds like the initial reaction was psychosomatic, hope your future experiences are less anxiety provoking. Sincerely, not a doctor
@@teppi5119 I recommend obsessing, worrying, and webMD'ing until it gets better. Or worse. Basically I recommend taking any form of action or inaction. That should do something. Or nothing
I know what you mean, Craig. I've rented all my life, but I never feel like I'm "home". Renting (to me) is a constant reminder that it's someone else's space. I can't wait to have my own home one day. Happy house-hunting. Enjoy your new home. 😊 xx
As someone who moved a lot I can totally sympathise with the feeling you are describing when you say "everything is temporary". I hope you will find a good place to settle.
I do not do drugs and I smoked CBD oil and though it's legal in California and everyone says it helps them with sleeping and anxiety which I have.. it made me trip the f*** out! I do not understand if this is what people like out of doing it or I just had a severe insane outer body experience! Honestly, do NOT do it! I truly believed life was not real! I was tripping out so bad! To others I seemed normal and calm but my mind made me believe that I was in purgatory! God bless you be safe do NOT do drugs! Also I get it, life is hard!🙏🙏❤❤
I took a huge amount of some pure THC oil couple weeks back and I had the same experience you speak of,it freaked me the fuck out.I’ve since been taking cbd oil and I’m not even sure that agrees with me
CBD had bad effects on me too. I had read that it is good for anxiety and depression. It did help initially with the anxiety but it actually made my depression worse. Like almost to the point of harming myself worse, which I had never been THAT extreme. Definitely no bueno.
One of the best thing I did for my sleep was get an eye mask. Finally got my husband to try one too. I read that blocking the light helps our brain produce more melatonin. Helps you fall asleep and stay asleep.
So I started taking CBD oil last Sunday and stuck to what it said on the label 2-3 drops twice a day. I felt great from this. After researching on the internet I found that for real results most people take 10-20mg which would be around 17 drops for 10mg. So I decided I need to start upping my dosage and forget what the label says. BAD IDEA!! Since Wednesday I have been having stomach pains and it was on my mind always because I hate that type of feeling. Thursday I dropped the dosage a little bit still felt stomach pains. Today I felt slightly better but still had an uncomfortable feeling from my stomach. About 2 hours ago I was in my dads car while he drove and my mind was thinking so much about the stomach feeling. Next thing I know I’m on the verge of passing out. Few minutes later I woke up and felt such a relief from the stomach. I’ve now decided I’m going to scrap the cbd oil because my body doesn’t digest it well and the nausea makes me weak and faint. Just wondering if anyone else had similar problems from the CBD oil? I was really looking forward to making this a part of my everyday life but not now. Would cbd flower effect my stomach in a bad way like the oil? I use to smoke thc marijuana all the time but recently stopped as it cause paranoia, stress, anxiety etc Sorry for the long paragraph, I wanted to explain as best as I could.
Was it Full or Broad spectrum CBD? Also if they got thd extract from a "sativa" strain it js for energy and focus, "indica" strains are for relaxing, sleep and pain
I'm 34. First time I smoked weed was on 2006. From the very first time I used up until 2013, when I finally gave up (yeah, I know, I'm stuborn as f***), it always made me feel terrible, and I always ended up throwing up. But again, on January 2018 I tried it with my girlfriend, and it was a totally different thing. I've keep (is it kept? I'm sorry. Spanish speaker) smoking since then, and it's amazing. I guess I'm going to have to ask Mother Science to explain that to me.
@@markkalsbeek5883 Yeah, that's what I think. I don't know. Even our own brain chemitry can affect it. I do enjoy it (a lot), but maybe it's not for everyone. :/
I tried several different CBD oils/pills/tabs. None of them had any effect on me. Yet, I know people who swear by it. I think it must interact with each individuals body chemistry differently. Yours sounds like an allergy though.
@@jdalia143xo Bummer for us, great for them! I also hear different brands and delivery methods very wildly in effectiveness. That said, I have heard you're not really supposed to "Feel" an effect so much as suddenly what was ailing you, isn't. For instance with my girlfriend, she has used it for migraines. She doesn't get a "CBD high" or any altered stated just a sudden absence of the migraine.
FYI, I subbed immediately after i heard "Mary, wanna". Im a smoker, but its cool that you put as your own personal experience and didnt generalize it to all peoples experiences. Some people may get dizzy after drinking that one beer (not me). GOOD ON YA! I need more channels like this in my life.
OMG now that you say that, the first two times I tried CBD oil, my heart did beat fast. But it didn’t do that after the third time and three months later I’m a full supporter.
One Eyed Penguin Hey. I'm from the UK and I have used both cbd oil and cbd isolate from LoveHemp. They are high quality extracts for sure. I would recommend avoiding the one with a coconut oil base as it tastes dreadful. The hemp oil one tastes really nice though. I'd also recommend terpene infused crystal isolate over flavourless. It seems to go down better. Though you would need micro scales to manage it. I preferred it to oils.
Please pass this on to noobs and people that've been turned away from cannabis. Did you "dab" or vape straight oil? Because you and everyone else should of started off by smoking/vaping the flower or trying a very low dose eatable. Trying oil for your first time, even 20:1 CBD:THC will get you high becausing you're inhaling an incredibly concentrated form of it. It's like trying alcohol for the first time and CHUGGING an entire glass of watered down scotch in one go. Smoking or vaping flower allows for small, managable puffs, where as with oil a few second long puff would compare to entire bowl of flower. And even if that weed is 20:1, you'll still be taking in THC without any tolerance and thus feel it's effects: ie the fast heart rate is because you're actually high and not use to it. So it makes sense that after some time you didn't have this problem because you gained a tolerance to the small amount of THC you had been injesting. Hope this clears things up.
We're going to buy a house at the end of the year and I know what you mean about the permanence/temporary feeling. I am very excited but also very nervous. I guess we only have to live there for four months, right?
Magnesium citrate is what helped me too. I was waking up at 5am almost every night but now I can sleep through the night if I take magnesium before bed
Paxton Johnson i take 300-400 mg of magnesium glyicinate (less likely to be laxative like). And i take it about 30 mins to an hour before bed. It’s not like melatonin which knocks you out quickly.
N2tech yup I got the same side effects. The first hours made me feel good and after a few hours I was in a bad mood and got into a few unnecessary fights.... I didn’t like that and I had to stop taking it
Did you take cbd isolate, broad spectrum or full spectrum? Cbd also has a bell curve effect. 67% of cbd oils are mislabeled according to the fda and Penn medicine University unless you get GMP certified cbd oil or 3rd part tested
If you're waking in the middle of the night, it could be cortisol. Do you have a lot of stress in your life? Are you managing that well? Are you waking up because you have to go to the bathroom? That can be a sign of insulin resistance. You could also try taking steps to improve your circadian rhythm. Do you get exposure to morning sun when you wake up? Are you often up late looking at screens? TV, computer, phone, etc. You could try blue light blocking glasses. I'd say it's pretty likely that there's a hormonal reason you're waking up in the middle of the night, It's just a matter of which one. Maybe seek out a functional medicine doc? Hope this helps! I haven't slept through the night in over two years because my thyroid is low-functioning.
I'm currently 24 and looking to buy a house. It's terrifying, but there are tons of perks! You could even go the landlord route and rent it out later down the line if you decide to move. But my mortgage will be less than it is to rent my current 1 bedroom apartment! And it will be a place to call my own, I won't have to deal with upstairs neighbors in apartments or crappy landlords. I'm rooting for ya Wheezy, good luck!
I've tried CBD oil a few times, didn't notice any difference at all. According to the internet, some people get an immediate reaction and some people need to take the oil for a while before they notice any difference. But I also take high blood pressure medication, CDB oil lowers blood pressure so I can't take it when I take my hbp medicine. I'll need to talk to my doctor to see if I can switch one for the other for a while. So I was going to ask, are you taking medications that may react with CBD oil?
Just try it out to switch no reason to ask the doctor and change your diet to carnivore or keto and threw all your meds on the garbage bc you’ll not need them anymore on a proper human diet it’ll fix everything
We bought a house about a year ago after moving 7ish times in the past 7 years. 3 of those moves were across the country. It's starting to almost feel like we're not moving again anytime soon. It's a nice adjustment, but a slow one. Good luck house hunting :) Be prepared to sign all the things once you have an offer accepted!
I get the heart racing feeling but it almost always passes within a minute and then I feel super relaxed. I think the initial stress reaction freaks people out and then it doubles down with an anxiety response. It took one of my college buddies a while before she could smoke and not feel anxious.
You did this to yourself as you are describing a panic attack caused by overthinking. You can only have an allergic reaction which has very obvious effects. The best way to prove this would be to placebo check yourself. Obviously you need a friend to help you out as you have to be completely unaware for this to work.
Are you sure that waking up part way through the night is really a problem you need to fix? If you get enough good quality sleep cycles that is. Split sleep used to be a very common sleep pattern in pre-Industrial times (the Victorians still regularly referred to 'First sleep' and 'Second sleep' as part of their natural pattern too). Might be one of those modern health misconceptions (like breakfast being the most important meal of the day). Just a thought.
If you are waking up in the middle of the night. Have you been checked for sleep apnea? Also, try Melatonin. I am looking at a Melatonin infused vape juice that is supposed to be rather good.
Marijuana has always made me sick. I have no problem with anyone else using it, but it gives me anxiety attacks, makes me vomit, and sometimes hallucinate. Terrible times! I also have asthma and allergies, so think my bad reaction may be an allergy since marijuana is part of the ragweed family and I’m very allergic to ragweed. Maybe you’re allergic, too? Just a theory from a beard loving, weed hating, fellow asthmatic.🤘
Definitely need more details here. What's the ratio of CBD to THC? Did it have THC? Is it full spectrum, broad spectrum or an isolate? From what I'm learning, all of these factors really matter. What brand?
Don't take it late. The effects on sleep and other neurological symptoms are slow developing and cumulative. Depending on the strain of hemp, it may be mildly excitory to your bodily vigor while calming to consciousness. I suggest research into the sleep-specific terpines that may be available rather than scattershot CBD.
Living a few hours north of you! I really understand your feeling of everything being temporary. It's hard to want to grow your life if you always think I might move next year. Definitely buy a house that can meet future needs. Otherwise your living in a place you won't want to make your own. Also Great Dane has amazing food!
May I ask, when you sleep how close is the cellphone near you when you sleep? I tried lots of things and said why dont i keep my phone at least 15 feet away from me when i sleep. I noticed that I have a better night sleep.
Just tried Hemp Lucid CBD Lavender Sleep and boom chuckle. Keep trying-it gets worse. Sleep, disease, especially autoimmune is crushing. I haven’t slept in 20 years. You wear the shoes you have. It’s good to know home. Find a way that works.
There are people that are allergic to marijuana in general, and generalized full spectrum cbd/hemp oil extract, but I've never heard of anyone being allergic to pure cbd crystal isolate.
Hi Craig. Been watching you from Oz for years now and have never left a comment because I generally don't like doing that on UA-cam. However, I wanted to mention a few points on CBD oil that may be helpful (I hope!). I take both CBD oil and THC for different things. I have gone through Australia's highly regulated system which means I had to see a specialist doctor with the training to properly prescribe cannabis and match the dose and strain to my needs. Basically, Cannabis is a very complex plant and dosing it is complicated. I have had very positive reactions to it as well as very negative responses, depending on CBD to THC ratios and how I took it (ingest, vape etc.). It took trial and error to find out what is right for me and that was under the guidance of a physician and the oil from a certified medical cannabis supplier. It's super unregulated in the USA, so please be very careful what you take there. Also, CBD oil does not help you sleep; it is actually THC which is the golden ingredient for that, but in my experience you need to take enough to help but not so much you get you high (I take a 0.3ml drop under the tongue each night. I hadn't slept through the night in seven years due to Fibromyalgia; now I get quality sleep minus the high.). I actually hate feeling stoned (makes me so anxious!) and avoid it like the plague. Basically, it's a weird and wonderful plant but it is not for everyone. Do your research, take care and good luck! :)
If your offer on the house falls through, there's a nice place just up the street from me that's available, Sure, I know you weren't thinking about moving to the Inland Empire in Southern California, but we could be neighbors. Sure, the upside is all mine, but still, maybe you should think about it.
FWIW: I take hemp-based (I have to pass drug tests when required) CBD capsules for my arthritis (which all the doctors tell me I'm too young to have) and don't really notice any THC-like effects such as rapid heartbeat or paranoia. Like you, I don't like weed; it actually makes me puke (so that's another reason for the hemp-based product). It doesn't help me sleep either. I get up at 4 every day (yup. Every day.) but my body likes to come out of deep sleep somewhere around 2:30. I have found that massive quantities of Spotted Cow (preferably purchased at The Pig) can help with the sleep issue, but then getting up at 4 becomes a wee bit difficult. Oh, and while I do like me some Spotted Cow, I prefer Louie's Demise or On Wisconsin. I would advise against Buzzy Badger, though. That is *strictly* a morning beer. Congrats on the house!
I had the same reaction but I enjoyed it. I also have a pain disorder I cope with. Usually anything and everything is better then the natural pain my body puts me through. I’m happy to hear you stopped because you don’t enjoy it! I don’t drink because it makes me “mean”. It’s so funny how similar yet different we all are.
I have a mild form of temporal lobe epilepsy and tho THC by itself may be very helpful to children with grand mal seizures, whoa, mj and I dont mix. I too get a rapid heart rate and a burning sun feeling in my back and I often hallucinate, well often in the times I have used it. Is CBD oil ingestible or do you put it on yr skin? A friend w/a med mj card in my state took me along to get her stuff and they gave her and me lollipops with a little center of CBD in it, it was nice and calming, a bit like the valium I have taken over the years. Then another day she had CBD chewables at her home and I took a little teeny bit, fine, a little more, fine, all calm. Male plant is kind to my brain, female plant is murderous to it. Go figure.
How many dropperfuls did you take, and what is the strength 500mg? 1000mg?.. you put it under your tongue and let it absorb for 1.5 mins yes? ..you need to let the capillaries under your tongue absorb it..
I've been taking it for almost 3 weeks now and I feel great honestly. I know it depends from person to person, plus I have 2 serious giant health problems, so probably I feel the benefits more than who has a good health. In addition, it helped me to recovery a lot of memories and to put out a lot of repressed emotions I didn't even know I had. I think the effect you've had is probably a mix of psychosomatic reaction + alcohol. In my humble opinion, you should avoid mixing them.
As a medical cannabis patient I can only say you're not going to have a strict quality control unless it's a medical dispensary. CBD isn't very heavily regulated just yet since it's all still getting used on a state to state basis. In my case that terrible feeling you seem to have using the product is how I will feel CONSTANTLY if I don't use the product. I've been diagnosed as Bipolar 2 and I have terrible Social Anxiety issues (meaning I find it very difficult to be out in public) and thankfully medical cannabis is legal in my state as I went through the process and payments to get my card. The kick in the groin however is that to GET my medical card I needed a "debilitating and physically painful" problem. And unfortunately I do have a peculiar stomach issue where I can often times feel like I might become phyiscally ill and it is beyond uncomfortable to feel that way... actually just typing about it isn't helping so I best stop now -_- . I have felt much better since using various products, however it is still a guessing game of sorts to narrow down what works best and that is something that will become more prominent over time. Plus I have unending frustration that cannabis will not be prescribed for mental disorders when in my case at least it has helped beyond words to even simply have these options available to me. I'd share a few links here but I don't want to seem like a spam bot or something, but a website called Leafy is what I have been using in my research to help with my issues. I also did a quick search on CBD on google if you're curious about why it's such a trendy thing right now and why the amount advertised might not really be what you're getting.
Floppin' Crappie is the best beer, duh. Edit: House buying is a bit scary, did it a year or so ago. The amount of time to sell it varies on a bunch of stuff. The way I look at it, live in it until you don't want to...then sell it. Maybe you come out ahead or a little behind either way you didn't pay someone else's mortgage. Be sure to pay attention to things like appliances, furnace and ac and even things you might not think like the grade of the yard. I've been dealing with a pond in the backyard. Stuff like that can be important and often overlooked. Congrats, it is an exciting time and can get overwhelming but just breath and scream into a pillow.
Im a bit scared to try it now, I once had a bad reaction to expresso coffee (didn't sleep for 4 nights!) never had caffeine since. Have heard a lot about this oil and very curious but not sure if I should try it now lol!
Cbd fcked me up, sorry for the word. I took gummie and cream for 3 months because i injured my forearm, took 20mg gummie plus applying cream every night. For 3 months i notice my left ear became so sensitive to noise and would hear knocking sounds occasionally, ive developed rashes on my left hand as well. Then the part of my stomach just above started to hurt mysteriously. I stopped cbd a week ago and for 3 days i couldnt sleep at all!!! Day 4 slept for 4hrs and couldnt stay asleep. My ears became noisy both! And still sensitive to loud noises, left ear still making knocking sounds.... but my left hand rashes gone now, plus that pain in my ribs gone now too. Still brain is noisy!! Fck cbd!!!
Another interesting video and something that might really help your sleep is a sleep study. It really helped me figure out what was going on with my sleep when nothing else worked. And I tried everything I could get my hands on, lotions, pills, etc.
Try the real plant if you really wanna know if its the plant or yaself thats reacting choose a plant Below 2% THC if you dont wanna get high but what % CBD did you take fx ?
Also I had the same bad reaction to cbd oil, rapid heart beat when I first started taking it and took a bit too big of a dose. So maybe try less? Either way if you decide it's not for you it's just not for you! And just fyi most of cbd oil sold in the USA is hemp, not marijuana based.
I understand. THC makes me immediately nervous, made my heart race like crazy; wasn’t a fun time. But CBD is actually my savior at times. It really helps me to feel less anxious. I think it depends on the person :)
You could try a blind test. Get 3 bottles of something, number them, have someone put the CBD into one of them and mark down the number, then drink one each night without telling them which number you are drinking and then write down how you felt about each one and then reveal which number had it.
Yes, do this! Talk about making it scientific!
Definitely try a blind test.
The original plan was a blind test but when I ended up getting the CBD oil they told me to take it by putting it under my tongue and there was no way to fake that in a way I wouldn't know. However, now I'm considering just taking it a different way and maybe then I can do that.
Don't put it in your eye... just sayin'
This. This. This. And AMEN!
Chris Bessey : Smart cookie!
@@markkalsbeek5883 hes not on about a tolerance he's on about your body downscaling its own production of it, maybe after years of abuse though, just like taking testosterone supplements do, its a very long term affect that will become present once you end up growing older.

CBD shouldn't make you feel high. Sounds like it's a psychosomatic reaction.
That is only if it is 100% pure cbd, most stuff people buy is hemp extract or "full spectrum" cbd, which has other cannibinoids and terpenes other than just cbd.

On the podcast Science Vs. on an episode about CBD they revealed that a study on CBD products from around the US had an average of 20% higher THC levels than declared on the packaging, as it is currently basically unregulated. Maybe you got actually a little high.
@@ghrosopher sorry but the link doesnt work. I'd love to know more about it. Is it better controlled in the UK?
@@TheComfyGeek Sorry about that, here's the citation, hopefully can be found through copy+paste+Google:

I don't know about the UK
Since most CBD products come from standard hemp, there's very little chance of the THC content being very high. Depends on the production method though.
Liam M-D I checked out the study you cited and it was quite interesting. However, it is worth clarifying that the study focused on online markets which are even less regulated and more rapidly changing. Additionally, the highest level of THC detected clocked in at less than 7 mg/mL when the standard dosage is usually around 10mg. While it is possible to feel some effects at 7mg/mL it's highly unlikely and, in Craig's case, I feel like the high was psychosomatic, as he himself said
@@ghrosopher thanks for the info!

But, I wholeheartedly believe it should be legalized everywhere, & can have positive effects for many.👍
probably the oil/buds you use contains also THC. so basically your effect is an ordinary weed paranoia 😁
cbd doesn't feel right without a low dose of thc. and thc doesn't feel right without cbd
I also have this reaction. Pleased to see I’m not alone - but also, bless you, I’m sorry that you have this aversion.
It can be pretty crucial to know what type you're taking and amount, some "CBD" has other cannabinoids in it, and some is relatively pure.
Wish somebody would had told me this.
I'd had the same experince and the stomach pain and nausia were as a result of it. I also found an increase in anxiety and had a very interrupted nights sleep with nightmares. I've been combing the internet for anyone else who's had a reaction like this.

My wife’s bio-chemistry is a finely balanced thing. Our old downstairs neighbors, here in CA, were medicinal users. Catching that second hand stuff coming up through our windows have her headaches, upped her anxiety levels and left her feeling generally off.

I use to smoke thc marijuana all the time but recently stopped as it cause paranoia, stress, anxiety etc

What brand are you using?.

I've tried CBD oil a few times, didn't notice any difference at all. According to the internet, some people get an immediate reaction and some people need to take the oil for a while before they notice any difference. But I also take high blood pressure medication, CDB oil lowers blood pressure so I can't take it when I take my hbp medicine. I'll need to talk to my doctor to see if I can switch one for the other for a while.
So I was going to ask, are you taking medications that may react with CBD oil?

You did this to yourself as you are describing a panic attack caused by overthinking. You can only have an allergic reaction which has very obvious effects. The best way to prove this would be to placebo check yourself. Obviously you need a friend to help you out as you have to be completely unaware for this to work.
A lot of books tell you that it's 4 months, but actually it is more like 17 weeks.

I react the same way to CBD oil, it’s ... unpleasant.
I get the same effect man. And it feels horrible. Twitchy nervousness, and terrible anxiety. Def not for me
FWIW: I take hemp-based (I have to pass drug tests when required) CBD capsules for my arthritis (which all the doctors tell me I'm too young to have) and don't really notice any THC-like effects such as rapid heartbeat or paranoia.
Go figure.
"you better like it bucko!" 😆
CBD helped my back pain and anxiety. It didn't help me sleep though. Congrats on your house.
Are you sure there was no THC in it? Was it a pure CBD oil?
You tryed?
Hemp is marijuana plant
It's actually 4.20 months Craig
Oh. Right right right right right.
I understand. THC makes me immediately nervous, made my heart race like crazy; wasn’t a fun time. But CBD is actually my savior at times. It really helps me to feel less anxious. I think it depends on the person :)
3 likes and no views....
I claim all 3 likes to myself!
Full spectrum usually contains at least a small amount of thc. Broad spectrum shouldn’t have any, but many supplements aren’t labeled properly.
POV: the review you find right after purchasing it
Dude every time I’ve tried weed it gives me a hungover the next day, which is weird. Also not keen on the effects
not a good feeling ...
100% correct Spotted Cow is the best beer ever made.
