Hey Shelby! Watching your video I think what is causing your spine blowouts is that your pressing sandwich is too thick. Books with the weaker spines like that one, you shouldn’t use anything more than a 20 pound bond weight paper inside the cover. Anything thicker than that, the energy is transferred during the pressing to the spine, and it will stretch it to the point of tearing and blowing out, hopefully that helps you out a little bit. Using the thinner paper inside cover works best.😊
Great job in the book, Shelby. Captain Larry’s method of works well and I’ve tried it to various degrees of success. I still do my wraps one at a time for the most parts. Removes that 10 min of frustration,😉

I used copy paper I believe except for the centerfold using magazine board. I will contact you to discuss further. Thanks.
