My team has used this robot for inspiration but the only issue is once the purple block clears the gear train on the connecting rods it hangs up. The purple block will not move any further past because the gear train is working against the robot by pushing inward and binding the block. We have the same ratio and set up as your robot. We have also tried many different combinations of velocity and torque amounts. It does get green just fine. Any advice on how to correct this issue? Thanks.
I had the exact same problem. The first thing I would do is made sure nothing is rubbing (spacers between every gear), then I would make it so that instead of one side having the gears, make both sides so it has more force because double the input, and finally, if none of that works, try a 2:1 because that'll help it no get stuck because it'll have more torque than a 3:1

Cyberspacers in their 149 run had a better intake, and they cleared supply in 18 secs, while you cleared in 25. However, since you don't have a pto, your lift is much faster, and you can run it while the intake is on without effecting the intake, allowing you to dump faster and get an insane score. :) Take this intake and outfit pto on it and it will go crazy, don't change it at all.
Cyber spacers had 152 too, not 149. Also it wasnt handpicked bcoz u can see they miss 3-4 second on the last red, so 4m will always be higher than 2m. Simply because clearing speed faster
@@Samuel_Cheng Samuel cant u just convert the inside of your current bot to 4m? since i think the intake, wall, and bucket are all tuned well. 5 rollers decreases intake preformance

@@Ultra-nl7mv oh, so the problem is in the drivetrain. we had built an armbot and it's so heavy that we wish we have a powerful drivetrain without pto because our team dont have enough money to buy pneumatic
@@bukachoo well samuel uses a 2:1 drivetrain, which makes it really fast. But also his driving is just really good. without pneumatics you can still make a 4 motor intake
@@Samuel_Cheng Remember that full park is a sacrifice. U lose drivebase speed for 5 point. 2x drivebase is pretty hard for full park and will need a lot of tuning
@@cstial In the 166A + 88896K Teamwork Match instead of using just motors to push it in the supply for full park one robot used a interesting mech with pneumatics that grabs the bar and pushes the robot making it very fast at entering supply
@@Ninjacookie331 Its a 4 motor drivetrain. You are losing a lot of intake and elevator torque that way. Remember motor share degrades intake speed too. Also you waste pneumatics

it’s not better, 4 motor intake clears much faster than 2 motor, but samuel has a really fast drivetrain which allows them to have a worse intake
