    I was diagnosed in my early 30s and I'm on the fence if it would be a great thing to be diagnosed as a kid as opposed to an adult. I'm happy I didn't look at life through the lens of knowing I was autistic. I struggled and knew I was different but thinking I was neurotypical, or not flawed, it gave me hope that I could do anything. If I knew I was autistic I don't think I would have pushed myself to go to college and graduate, which I did, get a regular job, etc. Don't get me wrong I struggled, was fired a few times, had awkward moment after awkward moment, but I didn't know why. I think if I knew then I was autistic I wouldn't have tried any of those things. With that said, I'm glad I know now that I'm autistic because it helps me understand not only myself but other people and why they respond to me the way they do. It makes me having a forgiving loving heart and it helps me forgive myself.

      I definitely can understand where you're coming from & maybe that's why I also pushed myself to go through college trying to prove I can do anything just like everybody else 🦾

      @@AZ-delaware Well, you certainly can, and that isn’t news to anyone even remotely educated. Whether you know your diagnosis or not. Some of the smartest people in the world have been autistic, especially when related to anything creative and artistic.

    I haven't been diagnosed with autism but I get told by friends they think I'm autistic and I think they might be right and I'm also OBSSESED with reptiles and animals in general and info dunk all the time. I'm yet to own any reptiles but I plan to.

    Hi Diniel. So nice to see you again. Thanks for posting and being so open and honest about your life's experiences as an undiagnosed teen.
    Thanks also for sharing that terrible experience you had in your teens. I feel bad that you were subjected to something so disgusting. That would leave a lifelong scar of mistrust on any teen girl. Jane was getting restless. I don't know any girls who would hold a snake in their hand as long you did. Glad to hear you love all animals so much. Both Jane and the Mistress must help you cope with days that are challenging.

      I'm happy to share my past if I'm able to help others in any way. Animals have never disappointed me in life & have been a form of emotional support for as long as I can remember 🐍🤍

    One of my husband's old friends has two autistic boys. But they were diagnosed because it's pretty obvious. Their mother didn't get married until her late 30's and had them in her 40's.
    It severely affected their ability to socialize, to work - and they are deeply withdrawn into cartoon video characters.

    • @AZ-delaware
      @AZ-delaware  2 роки тому

      Yes it definitely affects socializing and for some individuals work is extremely challenging. It is a spectrum but it does affect a lot of people for both of those

    Wow. I didn’t actually have a chance to watch any of your video until now. I just saw the notification and immediately left a comment. You’re actually in your 30s? I thought I was way older than you, figured you were in your 20s for sure.
    Also, has she ever bit you?

      @@AZ-delaware That’s crazy. You were blessed. You look much younger. At least by 5 years. Sure you’ve already been told this though 😂. Just crazy to me. I was thinking I had a decade on you, at least.
      That’s cool. I love ALL animals. Snakes scare me a bit, but it’s really awesome how much you care for her. Have an ex from back in high school that I believe still to this day has her boa, or at least did when we last talked on fb about a year back.

      @@AZ-delaware Also, if she hasn’t yet, highly doubt that she will. Unless she gets sick or something. You don’t strike me as one that would ever mishandle her
