This is driving me crazy. How do I turn it off. I’m trying to type a text, and iPhone is typing everything that everyone else is saying, including the radio. Please tell me how to turn it off. I’ve tried going to the settings you mention here and turning them off, but it still does it.🙁
Evelyn Peavy bro, Give you iPhone a force restart, access siri and ask it to turn off Voice to text. Or Settings> General> Keyboard> toggle off dictation.. and it would be off.😊
eddiewright2048 Bro, You need to Activate voice Text or Dictation on your iPhone, then press the mic icon to get these broken lines (Sound Wave, when you talk) in the Gray.☺️
Cary Crites bro, Turn on Dictation on your iPhone, it should fix the issue, Settings> General> Keyboard> Dictation> Toggle on Dictation> you will get the microphone to use Voice to text.😊

I got an iPhone 12 Version 16.3.1. Why is it every time I do speech to text it put a comma or a period after a word where it shouldn’t be or where I don’t want to be and just about every time it put a question mark after a sentence or paragraph. Is there a way of turning those features off.
Nowhere can I find where I can talk to friends in china or foreign language speaking countries I meet on gaming platforms or places where language is automatically translated . Well we exchange phone numbers and SADLY MOST COUNTRIES in the world teach English as a requirement in school whereas in the USA we do not have to. Anyway can an iPhone voice texting transcribe my English spoken words into say Chinese mainland mandarin or Japanese or Spanish etc. ??? Nowhere is there a video or internet answer if it can be done … if you can please help. It’s very aggravating having to translate during conversations texting 💬
What if you want to send an live audio recorded message. Not “text”. A recorded audio message. Like the way it used to work before. You hold down the mic button and it sends an audio file of whatever you record.

iPhone 12 Problem is it does not pick up the correct works I say If I say run dog run it might write text run hog son crazy!!
My iPhone 15 pro max doesn’t have the broken lines at the bottom in that grey area

Weird, I'm not given the mic icon to initiate voice-to-text. Dissapeared after switching to iOS 15
