EMG Mark 9 wind up Gramophone with a medium tone steel needle (Sorry I don't have fibre needles)playing I Love an Old Fashioned Song by Feddiy Martin and His Orchestra
Gypsymojo I have this same machine but with Garrard Electric Motor which I obtained in England back in 1985. It has a voltage selector allowing you to change the voltage to U. S. 120 volts 60 cycle. I was happy to get it and I am sure you were as well.
As they say "I had one" and Idelia D1 until about three years ago and sold it. I had been collectiong phonographs for over 30 years and had a collection of over 150 machines. I have sold most of my collection except for a few that I kept. Regards, Pete
Hey Mooo, LOL, The light in that room is very dim, I will have to save up for some higher wattage globes when I get my woman out of cash converters. Regards Marcel
Hi Pete, Thats a machine I would like to have one day, I would also like an Opera, Triumph and a class M. Did you see my Edison Home model A? it is number 825 made June 1897, very nice machine. Regards Marcel
Hi, Yes it is a very nice machine, fantastic sound also, I would like to get the mark 10 as well. You name Idelia, do you have one? now thats another machine I would love to have. Regards Marcel
Hi Ken, I have around 2000 records but I don't have any Nellie Melba, sorry. Is there any other artists you would like to hear? I may have them. Regards Marcel
Mental note to self...save some cash up, second mortgage perhaps, and get an EMG! Great machine, Marcel, I'm jealous!!! :-)

Hi Panatrope, Thanks for your comment, you know the great thing is, my partner loves them too. Regards Marcel
Hi Sean, It sure is a great machine, I am getting a bit short on room now, I had to move another Gramophone into the bedroom. Regards Marcel
Sounds great Marcel!
Thanks Shane, You will have to come and visit and see the collection. Regards Marcel
It must have pinched into Marcel's budget a good bit.. He didn't pay his electric bill and is taping this by candle light!
Great machine there!
