Florence was 28 years old at this point but sounds younger. Very lovely indeed. Many thanks.
This was a lovely recording of this famous song, thank you. I had never heard of Florence Hinkle and was glad to be introduced to her recordings. Melba also recorded "Goodbye" in English and if it was good enough for her, then it will be good enough for me too.
Another adorable singer I hadn‘t heard of until I discovered her on UA-cam awhile ago… Her voice sounds pleasant and pure and somehow… amiable, especially in her middle range… 🌹🌹🌹
Thank you for sharing this beautiful song (always a favorite with tenors) and performance! 🙏🍀
I am pretty sure I have McCormack singing it - perhaps even Caruso.
Would love to hear them both.

Same here! 🌟
I've never heard of this singer. Obviously not regarded as a red label artiste at the time. However, although i would have preferred to hear this sung in Italian, she sings beautifully. I shall look out for other recordings by her.
That sounds like a brand new record. Too bad all the master disks were either burned in a fire or recycled.
