He was still a very good player while being on the wizards. Specifically during his first season with the wizards (2001-2002) he averaged 23, 5 and 5. In his first 46 games that season, before the knee injury, Jordan avg 25, 6 and 5 while carrying the wizards to a 26-20 record and being in the playoff picture before his knee injury. The wizards proceeded to lose 9 out of their next 10 games without him. Jordan at age 38 was one of the top 10 leading scorers (aka points per game) in the league during that season alongside some of the best players at the time like Shaq, Kobe, Duncan, T-mac, Iverson, VC, etc.
