I do wish they would film the stage performance for this cast like they did with Hamilton. when a cast serendipitously vibes together like this it SHOULD be captured for posterity. look at the Hamilton effect, nearly 10 years later and it's still magical. this should be done for stage plays and musical theater that have that.
I saw on pretty good authority that RadicalMedia (who did Hamilton) are filming Merrily for a pro shot today and tomorrow! No clue if/when it will be released, though.

Gotta say when I planned my trip to New York for my 30th birthday, I did not plan on seeing the show. I added a few months before I flew out and hesitated because of the price of the ticket and where I wanted to sit. I am so glad I did. It was one of the best decisions of my life the show was absolutely spectacular, and I got to meet Daniel Radcliffe after the show and get my Playball signed and get a picture with him.

He's laughing bc lindsay says "its an honor to get to look at it again" and i assume (it) is referring to the show. And Dan says "yeah" in agreement and Jonathan doesn't say anything, so the interviewer asks him "Jonathan, similar?" And he laughs bc obviously he agrees with the other two, but its funny the interviewer asked him that question as if there was any other answer than "yes"

Hear me out when I say that I think Ben Platt and Jonathon Groff would be friends …
What is it about this extraordinary push to tolerate these actors egos and see this show that makes me want to stay as far away as possible from it ? Sorry. I’ve never had this strong a reaction and I love theatre in general and musicals in particular. But these actors are just too too big and corny. All that said, I do appreciate Dan Radcliffe though because I sense his desire for his colleagues to take it down a few.
