Yo Big T! I'm a little older than you and also have a kid. I still love gaming but it felt like I wasn't enjoying them like I used to. But then about 4 months ago I got into VR... Game Changer! It's time you jump in and get that experience. Some of these games are amazing. There's a new game like Escape from Tarkov and it is about to take off. It's still in Alpha. But besides that VR has upgraded itself with games and hardware.
I think you'll start to really fall in love with gaming again like I did
