The highly anticipated follow-up to Scandroid’s first two albums is here! Is it just me, or is "Save me from this paradigm" a callback to "We can't escape this paradigm", a line from the bridge of End of an Empire?

this sounds more like the classic 4 first released scandroid songs i love most. ( salvation code, datastream,, empty streets and aphelion)
All the songs of Scandroid are incredible, there is no definition of how perfect they are.

The End of Time is an Audiological masterpiece, Klayton's masterful mixing of choir and darksynth brings me back to the old days. In a way it reminds me of Offworld, building a calm and melancholy atmosphere, so far the Darkness has really impressed me, for quite a while I believed Klayton would try to stick with the happy sounding tracks and, in a show of just how perfect his music is, completely baffles us with a darksynth album that has the potential to rival the Unholy trinity. Klayton, please don't stop making music, ever.
Don't forget his vocal range, really on display in this one.
Just think. There are people in your town who are happy with their lives and have no clue scandroid exists. Those poor F***ers.

Feels phenomenal driving around Night City in Cyberpunk 2077 and listening to this track. I thought that this track when it came out would fit so good into the agme as much as other Scandroid music. Sadly Klayton's music didn't amke it into the game but at least there's mods replacing the game radio with music like this. Don't get me wrong, I love the music of the game but I've become tired of it after listening to the game music for almost a year now.

@@matthewcarey5842 Wasn't overhyped in my opinion. Pretty awesome game and put in over 200 hours without anything game breaking. The only thing overhyped was the hate bandwagon that everyone felt cool to be a part of because that's how a herd mentality works. There are games out there right now that have infinitely more bugs but get twenty times the love. It's kinda pathetic. But that's why I try not to associate with the "gaming community" anymore - it's toxic.
@@highpineapple The problem isn't the game itself, the game is fine, the city is beautiful, the story is fine, it's a good gta like sandbox based on a great ttrpg. The problem is with cdpr, they basically made another duke nukem forever situation, it's not a matter of bugs, it's a matter of promises, they made too many promises they couldn't maintain. Cp2077 isn't to this day the game they promised and will never be, at a basic level of programming it can't, they would have to rework it to the core, it's better to start from 0. Most of the people who hate this game actually hate cdpr for basically lying to them, the "toxic community" you're talking about is just that small community of loud angry people that make everyone look bad.

I can hardly believe that Klayton made something more powerful than the Scandroid album, but this darkwave masterpiece perfectly matches the deeply detailed, sorrowful, but somehow romantic futureworld of androids.

I wasn't going to buy that game, but if Klayton does the soundtrack, I'll get it.
My created character is going to look like scandroid.
People keep asking this in the comment section for synth tracks, but Klayton is one of the few artists off the top of my head that could provide some unique sounding original tracks, that actually fit the game. Artists like Carpenter Brut, Magic Sword, or Dance with the Dead, while good, are too stereotypical retrofuturistic 80's synth, that doesn't really fit the feel that CDPR seem to be going with in the game.
@@oliver7710 I agree, however the game's creator said there wouldn't be synthwave in the games soundtrack, so I guess it comes down to Spotify to provide the music for my playthrough lol

The first half of the song let me down, the second half was absolute god-like. That late 80's build up at 3:25, the break beat, slow lyrics, and chords.

Hearing another song by Scandroid, I thought to myself, "Why is this fella's voice sound familiar? I searched through my CD's and would you know, Circle of Dust and Celldweller. I enjoyed life during those CD's, and I'm pretty sure that I'll enjoy life through this new chapter of music.

I have to admit... while I'm not thrilled about this costing more than a full album when it's basically an EP, I have to say that this song (and Onyx to a slightly lesser extent, but that's just me) makes it a bit more worth it. I can't wait for The Light and, subsequently, experiencing it as what it was meant to be - the completed follow-up to Monochrome, The Darkness and The Light. I'm certain I will enjoy it about as much as the debut, if not more, if the song order on the full album ends up creating such a cohesive narrative that I can't help but get lost in. Excellent work as always, Klayton, and good God you somehow manage to balance moving, children, a wife, *and* your music... honestly inspiring.

New Scandroid album is amazing so far. Definitely possible for all the tracks to be top songs.
I'd classify it more as an EP at this point, since this is half of the actual 3rd album, which will also consist of songs off of a second EP, "The Light", coming out at some point next year. And then a combination of the two releasing as well next year, as the complete 3rd album, The Darkness and The Light.
