    My hair has grown sure long after I started these natural stuff and okra tops my list. It makes my hair very easy to manage and it's an easy to make gel. I only boil water and let the okra sit in for some time. Then I apply on mine and my daughter's hair.

    Daughter I think I may like this one bc I’m allergic to aloe Vera so for someone like me this is WONDERFUL!! His hair is coming along beautifully!!! I’m back to using Rosemary water & Blue Magic hair grease. I having to get some steroid scalp injections from the dermatologist to calm down inflammation in the scalp that seemed to be making some scarring in the scalp. Thank you so much for the video. Your boy is so handsome!!! You need a girl now - many blessings to you & your family. Keep up the great work!!!!

    Oh my goodness. I was shocked to see how much his hair grew. What am I doing wrong? I’ve been trying to grow my hair for 4 years now and I’m taking good care of my hair but it’s not growing. My hair only grew about 3 inches since I’ve decided to take care of it and it’s been 4 years 😢. Any tips Nica?

    • @NicarenaCiff
      @NicarenaCiff  8 місяців тому +6

      His hair is growing a lot and we retain almost all the length. Your hair grew more than 3 inches, I think that you're not retaining length. If you're moisturizing and taking good care of your hair, I think that it's the way you detangle the hair that is causing breakage.
      Let me ask you these questions:
      1- Do you wear protective styles most of the time?
      If yes
      2- Do you see new growth after few weeks ?
      3- How do you take them down ?

    • @anastaciamoise6718
      @anastaciamoise6718 8 місяців тому +5

      I do wear protective styles a lot. My hair is mostly in protective styles but I only keep my protective style for about a week or two then take them down, wash my hair and braid it again. I usually just take it out or sometimes apply a little oil and moisturizer before taking it out. I do see growth when I leave it for two weeks or more. But for some reason I it’s been in the same length for years. After 4 years of taking good care of my hair it should be longer. I’m praying that this will be a breakthrough for my hair. Thank you so much for replying. I’ve been following you and and seen the amazing changes and now seeing your son… so any tips will be appreciated. Thank you

    • @NicarenaCiff
      @NicarenaCiff  8 місяців тому +2

      I would start by saying that taking down the braids( protective styles) after one week is too quick because you're manipulating the hair too often. Keep the braids for at least 4 weeks if you can; that's the minimum for me. If you can push it for 6 weeks that will be even better.
      You can still wash your hair weekly or every 2 weeks with the braids. And keep your ends moisturized while in braids.
      And when it's time to take it down be gentle try the method I used in this video.
      That's how I grew my hair, I am using the same method on my son's hair. It works.
      Thank you so much for asking your questions it's an honor. I deeply appreciate you 🙏🏽 ❤️

      Same thing with me till I started listening to nicerna I keep my hair in protective hairstyles in 3 months my hair is an inch away from waist length because I trimmed my hair ....it takes me a week to take down my hair gently during the long term protective hairstyle I try my last best not to apply heave moisturizer I just use tea spray and oil only on my scalp and moisturize my hair strands with just the tea spray and oil only once or twice in a week but I moisturize my ends more and tuck it away........ during the week of takedown that when I will start applying leave in moisturizer 😅😅😅 to soften my hair strands .....as a beginner I will advice u to start from six weeks then build up from there watch her other vedios on how she's taken down her hair I so much love nicerna

      @@NicarenaCiff thank you! I will try keeping them for longer. The only thing is that I don’t wear wigs and after a couple weeks the braids get ugly. But I’m going to try to keep them at least for a month. Thank you so much for your advice.

      Do you cover your hair for a while? plus do we wash it as usually.

    • @NicarenaCiff
      @NicarenaCiff  8 місяців тому +1

      Yes, you can cover it for 20 to 45 minutes.
      You can use it as a prepoo, or you can use it as a conditioner.
      If you use it as a prepoo/ detangle, follow with your regular routine.
