Ray Allen is one of those uncontested Hall of Fame caliber players. He hit one of the most clutch shot I've ever seen, so the greatness is unmatched
Man Scalabrine is so modest not including himself in the talk of past celtic greats. I'll never forget when the white mamba did a 360 tomahawk jam from the free throw line on lebron. True GOATS never get the recognization they deserve smh

White mamba is such a class act. Such a humble guy. I remember when he scored 99 points in the Garden. Had the opportunity to hit two free throws to score 101 but said he doesnt want to beat Wilt's score. Then I remember in 08 he returned the MVP trophy to David Stern telling him that Kobe should get the award because he has never gotten one. Scale was just a pure class act!

@@heisenberg2966 Scal had a minutes restriction throughout his entire career, as per David Stern. His skill level was and still is beyond anything the league has seen.
David Stern also forced a shot restriction.
He could only shoot so many times.
And he had to purposely miss sometimes so it would be fair.
It’s also reported that he was forced to wear weighted shoes to keep him from jumping his max vertical.
He was limited to a 20 inch vert.

It’s definitely Patrick. There was another story about kg absolutely demoralizing him during a scrimmage. I think he saw it as a personal insult that they even brought the guy in - as I think kg was coming off that knee injury.

I know it was his choice no one could have had a say. But i really felt then he to stick with celtics for few more years...especially after 2012 Game 7 EC finals tough loss vs Miami. A Ray Allen 3 going in would have had the game for us just one basket in the last 2minutes. A miss gave aa 6 point swing. It was that close though they were more aged and tired than the relatively younger Miami team. Anyways... it was heart breaking to see him go then. It was great to c him at the garden and the three hugged , for they sure gave along with other celtics team mates a fabulous 5 years of fight every day.
We know "no beef" is a lie, but unlike KG & PG & Rondo, he rare talk about that in public. Ray is the most matured guy out of them.
