This segment I put together is very cool, however the whole final season was not like this. It had a lot of annoyances, and I had to trim certain things of course. Naturally, the screenplay writers had changed by then.
There is a colour filter I put on, I think it looks pretty cool :P. The voice acting is annoying at times, especially Yami didn't really sound the same. I'm sure it's either someone different, or who even knows...Kaiba's voice is not the same definetly. Yugi's and Tea's voice changed after Season 1 too.
It's not worth a watch by any means, after Season 1 it was best to just shut it off lol. The Mythic Dragon saga was not well done by general standards, and the Battle City saga was garbage. The last duel in Waking the Dragons was very fun, but that doesn't equate watching a whole terrible 40 episodes of absolute nonsense lol. I'm sure there's a good reason why censoring had to occur, it usually is someone's child that keeps running down the road endlessly.
But! This video pretty much suffices what anyone would have missed. Less use of magic and traps that had any real sense, strange type of new set of monsters that don't really parallel the characters original roster. But this villain returning after many sagas was a lot of fun, and delivered quite masterfully.
It never really made sense what it was the Winged Dragon of Ra did, even Obelisk was never too clear. Slifer was cool though, and made sense. Diabound also doesn't really seem to be in place with this theme of story, and is very generic (along with many other ones, much after that Beta the Magnet Warrior phase). If the creature can't be identified really for what it is, it's not good fantasy art :D. - Розваги

bakura was a great villian. For most of the time he was a major underdog. Atem had control over the strongest monsters but using just trickery he did well. pour one out for your boy
I think you forgot the time when Yugi (without Atem) was the underdog and whipped the floor with Bakura using the silent swordsman and gandora.

The 5D's manga actually had a horse rider lol. Skeleton Knight's horse is even called D-Horse like D-Wheel (Duel Runner in the English dub) but it's a horse.

You know when yugioh first came on tv and I first saw the spirit, Yami/Atem, I had a feeling he was some kind of ruler based on how he spoke with a commanding voice and how when he entered everyone looked at him. It’s like I’m king and you are going to listen to me or else. 😊long live the pharaoh!
Kind of long but I'm gonna nerd out: the millennium items are 7 items that when come together in a "key" to unlock "the memories of the pharoah". At one point Yuugi muto had the millennium puzzle stolen and broken apart. Bad bakura helped out because he wanted to store a portion of his own soul in the millennium puzzle, as that's the MAIN item since it stores the pharaohs soul and will be the main item unlocking the pharaohs memories. The gang collects the items after a whole lot of hijinks, and they unlock the memories of the Pharoah. But because bad bakura stored a portion of his soul in the puzzle, instead of just playing out his part in the past, he is also actively competing for the treasure. I missed a lot of stuff as this is off memory of a series I've been with since the beginings, so apologies.

Bakura’s rage was actually justified.
6:20 this scene is a reference to that time Yugi was dueling Ghost Kaiba, and the real Kaiba hacked into the Duelist Kingdom computer system to weaken and destroy Kaiba's blue eyes white dragon. (Throwing a sword at a tablet is the equivalent of hacking in ancient Egypt).
For the record, Yami is still Dan Green, Seto is still Eric Stuart...none of the voices actually changed at all. Dan Green's always voiced Yugi just using different inflections. Also Tea's voice did not change at all. It's still Amy Birnbaum. *Tristan's* voice actor changed from Sam Reigel to Greg Abbey really early on, but outside of them and like Rex during Waking the Dragons, the voices never actually changed so I think this description is a bit skewed.
I think the only thing that really changed between seasons was the voice direction, but even then you can very easily tell it’s the same people doing the voices for these characters.

Man the spirit of the ring was such a good antagonist the voice actor did such a good job at displaying the duality of Bakura and the evil spirit.
Also the whole show is full of amazing antagonists. Even the pharaoh embodies darkness at some points on the show.

Because you have to remember that Ra is a Class 2 Egyptian God and Slifer ans Obilisk are Class 1. Atem knew that Diabound was as strong as a God and played it safe just in case Diabound was able to destroy one of the Gods and absorb its powers and attacks. If he called Ra first, Diabound wouldn’t be destroyed.

1 blue eyes is equal to the god cards in actual combat outside of card games.
@@relaxingsoundsmagnet3947 But he used his blue eyes against Obelisk earlier. Slifer was negated by Aknadin's sword in the chamber hence Diabound was able to kill it. If Aknadin didn't interfere, I think it still would've been a stalemate but the Pharoah had numbers on his side (Kareem and Seto).
Ra should have ended it but plot armor lol.

I played the 5D's PSP game, it was fun as a basic Yu-Gi-Oh simulator. But as for the show, all I know is the drawing and animation etc. looks gimmicky!

You know what would have been a BIGGER plot twist. Is if the game Bakura and Atem had in the final season was a game all along, From EP1 to when Atem woke up at the table. The anime wasent really clear how Atem got to the Table for Bakuras ultimate shadow game. It could have been from their 1st Duel in the shadow realm when Little yugi and friends were there fav monsters and from that point on it was a duel b/w Atem and Bakura the entire time
