    This is a review of Singapore Airlines A380 Business Class flight from London to Singapore. Instead of the $4,000 cash, I was able to redeem 87,500 miles via Air Canada Aeroplan and less than $200 in tax and fees.

    This is the best flight review vid I’ve seen. Your voiceover was absolutely the right call. Please do more like these.

      Thank you! I was actually pretty nervous with the switch up, still feeling it out with this segment but I have about 6 - 7 more flights lined up (5 filmed and 3 - 4 more to be filmed). Glad you liked it!

    I’ve commented on this product a few times and basically I would never try again ! The seat was rock hard and we both had sore backsides within an hour but worst of all is the sleeping position which you need to be a contortionist to be able to be comfortable. Crew and service as always are excellent on SQ but the A380 seat would be the worst I have experienced. Never again !!

      Best of luck! I'm actually heading to Japan twice in the coming year. Both times are going to be redeeming points. one of the redemptions is using Qatar airways Q suites. The other redemption is flying Japan airlines business class with both programs I use American Airlines miles.

    Hi john great videos thank you for sharing. Question though does mileage expire particularly capital one venture miles? I have currently 200k miles 😊

    • @johnsfinancetips
      @johnsfinancetips  2 місяці тому

      Thanks! And great question, miles from the banks do not expire. Airline miles though may or may not, that depends on the particular airline program.

    That a380 seat is good only if sleeping isn’t required. Hate sleeping on angle. The A350 business regional is better since its more straight

    I flew on Korean Air A380 Business from LAX to ICN recently. The seats were not as nice as Singapore, but still very good experience. What I liked about upper deck was it was noticeably quieter than main cabin possibly because extra spaces away from quad engine of the plane. Most of A380 planes are over 10 yrs old and they will show ages. As time goes by we'll see less number of these giant quad engine planes in the future. If you never tried one, do it before they will all disappear in the future. 😀😄

    I prefer the AC lounge at LHR because of the sleeping pods. The UA used to have a 1st class section. The last time we flew Polaris it had dropped in quality.

      The trick is to use Air Canada miles and the way to get Air Canada Miles is with any of the major credit card programs, sign up bonuses, and then transferring over.
