I occasionally remember this song exists and come here to watch it. Hello to my future self from April 28, 2014. The fence weaving project for the chain link around the new yellow building is going well so far.
Literally discovered this band last night, when Ivo Graham mentioned them on House Of Games. He has an excellent taste in music so I checked it out without hesitation. 24 hours later and I fucking love them.
this is awesome song, a wonderful mood, the up tempo and the beat... simply impossible "to keep the chatter down in this room". This is an amazing song!
WOW! FANtastic!!😊Just heard the track "Go!" chosen by Libby Jackson, who is the head of Space Exploration for the UK Space Agency, on the programme 'Private Passions', BBC Radio 3.
It is good to see people celebrating humanity for a change. Love the music and Spitfire is so meaningful to me as I have a great uncle who died over Holland on Jan 1st 1944. I don't know the fighter he was flying though.
The main workhorse fighter of ww2 was the Hurricane, they outnumbered the Spitfire by quite an amount. Those young men that strapped themselves into those aircraft with often very little flying time were brave beyond mere words. Winston Churchill said it best. "Never was so much owed by so many to so few". I'm not sure how the records system works in Canada but here in the UK you can pull the records of your relatives wartime records by contacting your Ministry of Defence records department or by going through charities and veterans associations. Never stop being proud of your Grandad, he gave us our freedom to be here right now.
This is wondrous - Go

Only just discovered this song. I can't get over how great it is. Not sure how it existed for so long under my radar.
Welcome to the biggest alternative band of the decade my friend
Landing radar or rendezvous radar? 🤣
@@CharlesP2009 well played 👏 👌

"We've had shut down"
Brings tears to my eyes everytime I hear it.
Hearing that "tranquility base, the eagle has landed" has captured my imagination since then when I was 15 years old.
Easily one of the best gigs I've ever been too, thank you for creating this
Incredible band.
I saw them perform this live at Belfast Limelight a few years ago. See them live if you can: they're exhilarating live.
Just back and buzzin' after watching them at manchester :) . GO!
Just saw them yesterday at the Limelight. This song was absolutely amazing!

love the bassline on this one
I sure hope you'll perform in the Netherlands sometime. I loved it in April! And this looks at least as good!
My life goal is to see a live performance
They're touring UK & Europe in Oct - tickets on sale today in 2 1/2 hours!
I've just realised I've never truly appreciated the bassline here. It carries the whole song in an amazing way.
Love this track.
First time I hear this band and I like it a lot. The synth to me sounds 100% Korg DW-8000
"OK, keep the chatter down in this room"
When I was doing my O Levels I had a Physics teacher who used to say, " Keep the chatter down girls." Always reminds me of that!
Just beautiful from here. GO!
I almost feel like the live version was better.
Sure!
I agree
Same with Spitfire - has that extra energy and a more rich sound with more instruments.
It is, actually. But studio versions are awesome too!
Just brilliant
Happy 50th.. next stop, mars!
This band is completely Phenomenon indeed
Total Kick-Ass! I love this band!!
Check out Free World from the 80's. They were doing this stuff 35 years ago!
Awesome 🤩 ❤

Paul Moulton I bet it was a Spitfire my friend🏴🇬🇧💪
@@mickrobo6073 I would like to think so. His photograph is on the wall right behind me in fact. Cheers from Canada!
This is most likely searchable with a few more details, given that records are extensive.
@@kingoftadpoles Really? I should track this stuff down. I should check with Veteran affairs.
