Most likely because they think he's 'the rock guy'- a lot of people think he was strictly a rock singers, and his bandmates kept pushing for other genres. That's, of course, completely false- Chester enjoyed all kinds of music (said so himself) and was pushing for other genres just as much as anyone else in the band.

I know late response, but I was at this concert and it was a very corporate crowd. So you are not wrong, but the concert was amazing.
