I love that they finally gave a bride in Bridgerton a dress that was not white! White was an insanely expensive colour and it wasn't popularised for wedding dresses until Queen Victoria! Most women that could've afforded a new dress around this time wore blue or black! The amount of creative license the costume department could've had if they acknowledged that fact and steered clear of the white would've been amazing! Glad at least that Penelope looked stunning in that subtle blush pink, it's so good :D
