I was almost 9 years sober and I blew it on the day I got married. 5 years later I'm divorced and lost it all. I helped many get clean in which til this day they are still clean. For the first time in 5 years I'm 10 days sober. I came across this video and it's definitely helping. Thank you. I wake up feeling more alive.
I thought I had won the battle, 4 years sober, my wife and I went for an anniversary meal and I though I can handle just 1 glass of wine, haven’t been sober since, that was 5 years ago, it’s a silent killer that stuff, I really want to get back out of the mouse trap..😭 I’m still so annoyed at myself..
@Align500pro I still think about what if I didn't grab that drink that day. Like would I still be married ? Of course I would but it's all good. I'm heading to 4 months clean. This video started it all for me. Helped big time.
This is giving me hope. I had long periods of sobriety and relapsed It's horrible. I just adore Michael, so I'm going to give this a try. Bless your beautiful soul Michael Sealey✨🙏✨
@@Align500proalcoholism is very patient. Us alcoholics have it for life. All we really have is a reprieve on a daily basis. All that sober time you had is still within you. Just try to tap into it again. Unfortunately alcohol is a legalised and socially accepted DRUG 😟😢
@starswift8084 did you give this video a try ? Im heading towards 8 months sober. I put this video on 3 to 4 times a week to go to bed. Nothing is impossible.
Are you kidding me 😲 I have had an on and off again (more on than off) problem with alcohol abuse for 20 years. In July 2019 I started drink again, a LOT, due to a bunch of really bad events. Anywhere from10-20 drinks/day. It’s been bad. As of last week I was drinking 12-18 seltzer’s a day ( 🤢 ) as I quit my 1-2 magnums of wine ( double 🤢). Anyway...listened to this about last week...it’s 10 days later, and today I had 4 seltzer’s and not even wanting them, just to stave off withdrawals. Really amazing. I mean, I’ve been to rehab/detox more than 10 times in 20 years. I really don’t have much more to say than that. Truly, I am pretty amazed. THANKS THANKS THANKS! Thank you 🙏🌸
Keep it up there are many health benefits to no alcohol. Had a delicious nonalcoholic beer today was fine. What I do is fill in my focus 🧘♀️ with other things. Take a class. I do sword ⚔️ Hema. My wife started sewing. And lifting weights 🏋️ more. Not consistent yet keep trying. Takes time. Surrounding yourself with healthy people. Take dance 🕺 lessons!! Really!
I was a year sober and had a relapse today. While I feel ashamed and heartbroken , I know that it means a higher power is testing me - to see if I fail and remain in my old ways. I will not. I will not allow my demons to control me, or make my life any less happy than I deserve. Sobriety is my serenity ❤

76 days sober. Listening to Michael absolutely helps me. I came across him day 1 of my sobriety and it has been life changing. I listen every night and if needed during the day. Thank You.
I've listened to this every night for 2 weeks now, I'm 31 days sober. I have found that I'm getting less cravings, feeling happy and thankful. Will continue listening to this.
I've only listened the last two nights and think I fell asleep during the first time listening, but I've had two solid days without temptation for the first time in a long time. I will listen again tonight. It's working for me 😊 Thank you 🌻
I listen to this everyday. I got the idea after reading Allen Carr’s “Easyway to Stop Drinking”. And although the book is more for people who never want to drink again, it helped me see alcohol for what it was: more of a poison than a passageway to fun. It really changed my perception of alcohol and why I drink. I went from drinking 6-8 strong beers every day of the week to having 3 beers during a weekday and 6 beers on Fridays and Saturday. I’m not where I want to be yet, but I’m happy with my progress. I seriously would be drunk during my classes everyday. And I’m glad those times are now behind me.
I was very surprised, how much this video helped me. I haven't had a drink and haven't been craving one at all!!! I was 2 weeks 4 weeks pregnant and having a very hard time stopping!!! Veryyyyyyy hard!!! I listened to this one night, I fell asleep but its like I could still hear every word. I listened to it again every night for the next month!!! I'm now 6 months pregnant, I'm healthy and so are my twins!!! I haven't had a drink since that first day I listened to this. (I drank before I found this that day) I'm so thankful for your video. I highly recommend this to anyone going through a struggle!!!
Hi Michael, I listen to your videos every night for my career strength and moving forward with confidence. Currently in the hospital with my father (he had a stroke and needs heart surgery) but he also suffers from alcoholism. He couldn't relax the past couple of days so I turned your newest video on for him. He loves it and it was the only thing that helped him relax and fall asleep. He now moving forward will be listening to this to help him through his recovery. Thank you very much for all your videos!
Listened to this most night for several months. Slowly started drinking less and less without even thinking about it. I ran out of wine over Labor Day weekend. Haven’t had a drink since. I continue to listen to this most nights hoping to make it stick!
Micheal, I have no idea how this works, I fell asleep listening to it last night-sober. And had no craving today. All of your videos are phenomenal and I’m so grateful I ran across this one. Listening again tonight. Bless you! ❤️
I listened to this 2091 nights ago. Haven’t touched a drop since and I was an alcohol dependant where drink had slowly taken over my life. I’m not putting it wholly down to this video, because how can i truly know but still it must have helped or played some role in ending my alcohol dependency. Hypnotherapy or not, you all have it in you to face a life without alcohol. Once upon a time I could never imagine a life without alcohol. Now I can securely and happily live a life without it. You can too. All is love ❤❤❤
Michael, can I personally thank you for this post, I tried alsorts to address my drinking issues out & kept failing and struggling, craving, etc etc etc... Then I tried listening to your hypnosis on an evening when I went to bed, & was amazed at the result!!! I no longer drink, don't crave, don't think about alcohol, don't fancy a drink, I,m not tempted whatsoever and can only put this down to your hypnosis. Whiteout sounding dramatic you have probably saved my life. The reasons I have sent this to you is one, I'm eternally grateful for this, & two so others can read this and hopefully use this amazing tool and do the same as I have. Thank you Michael.
I was 2 years sober as well wish I would have been as solution seeking to find this because I ruined my beautiful life again with alcohol. I will start this journey again. God pushed me the first time because I was at my wit ends but I lost my spiritual contact and thought I could handle it. Lord. Peace to all of us.
2 weeks in and I feel so much better every day. I listen to this every night and it has helped immensely. I actually feel scared to have a drink now because I enjoy the energy, clarity, positivity and general well being so much that, I’m afraid even one drink will take it all away. Thank you for producing this Michael. It’s the only thing that has ever worked for me. 👍🏼👍🏼👏
Some more thoughts from my daily journal.. I attribute a large part of my success to Michael’s nighttime self hypnosis. If you are like me - a high functioning person with a crap relationship with alcohol - then you really should dedicate at least 10 to 15 mins a night at bedtime to this program. Latest journal entry - Aug 17 - no problem now. 15 Days in and everything just gets better. Skin, hair, whites of my eyes, sleep, energy, positivity, feeling present, calm, proud. I can’t believe I have spent the better half of 40 years in an alcohol cloud. To think what I have been able achieve running on low grade fuel and miss-firing… Well, I’m not looking back in regret - that’s all in the past and can’t be changed - only looking forward to wringing the neck of the rest of my life as a fully functioning, high achiever who will re-write the record books when it comes to ageing and success in the second half. Update - now 105 days without alcohol. No problems at all. I still listen one or two nights per week. Life is so much better without booze. I realise now that I am a different person in may ways. All for the better.
It's your body chemicals adapting to a huge change. Keep going! It will get easier! Try melatonin and other natural sleep aids. Anxiety is common when stopping alcohol.
Completely stopped cigarettes in 2018, Drinking completely stops in 2019. Thank you Michael for your amazing hypnosis videos as they are so helpful with all that buried stuff! Happy New Years!
Second day listening and today it allowed me to go deeper enough to cry and understand the impulse. I really appreciate this video and your kindness enough to share this. Positive thoughts to everyone out there trying to go sober. You are not alone. I am not alone. We are not alone.

This is so beautiful and poetic I can hardly take it. It’s overwhelming. I’ve lost friends and clients to it, broke my laptop, would be with dangerous strangers, broke a really nice camera, have been in the hospital a lot, have liver damage. I have been happily not drinking anymore though and look to these kinds of resources for ongoing guidance.
Same. I have lost so many friends and family. Lost my SP just last week. It's a painful mistake but I know we can get through this. I have broke my cell phone more than once and just recently my bathroom door. Lord help us.
Wow, Michael! This is perfect. One of my specialties is overcoming addiction. I believe that our addictions are a means, a maladaptive attempt, to cover up feelings of fear and guilt. I further believe that there are really only two emotions ... love and fear, of which guilt is a particularly pervasive and insideous form. There is either love or a call for love, and addictions are a call for love. Speaking as one who is working her own successful recovery from alcohol addiction, I especially appreciate that you recognise (I spelled it with and "s" just for you) the role hypnosis can play in recovery. I would only add that anyone who is truly addicted to alcohol should seek medical assistance before quitting. Alcohol withdrawal poses serious risk of heart failure and seizure, and should not be attempted alone. But it can be done! If you are an alcoholic let me tell you, there is a beautiful life on the other side of the bridge. Face your demons and they will disappear! Love, Peace, and Still Waters to you, Michael, and all whose lives you touch, Susan
Martine Peters Dear Martine, Decide what your goal is, and then realize that you are already free to do anything and everything to make it so. Sounds easy, right? Well it is! It is only your little self that puts up imagined obstacles. Your true Self, the one Michael speaks to in his sessions, is limitless. May I recommend, in addition to continuing to listen to Michael, that you also listen to Eckhart Tolle, whose book, "The Power of Now", is also available as an audio book here on UA-cam. Check it out and let me know what you think. Agape, Susan
According to Carl Jung, it is more to embrace our demons, or what he would consider the Shadow. By doing so, we integrate the energy and empower ourselves as whole human beings.
Steve Goldberg I totally agree, by facing (embracing) the shadow/demon, it becomes transmuted into awareness. Acceptance then removes the fear. Great minds think alike, Dr. Goldberg!
I started drinking as a self-treatment for my PTSD following abuse. Therapy for a few years has been helpful, but at times I get flashbacks and this helps a little.

I woke up at 4am after drinking alcohol , feeling fed up after quite a few failed attempts to stop for good . I have convinced myself that yesterday was the last day . I am going to listen to this video today before work . I would love to look back a year from now from this post and to say I did it.
I remember writing this when I was feeling really unwell after a night drinking . I remember I failed so many times to stop . I used to do a few weeks then I would fall off the wagon and then drink more than I would of done ok the first place ! I recently done some hypnosis sessions with a guy called Richard who helped we talked a lot about addictive behaviours and we focused on that in my sessions . I now only drink once a week and only have a small amount of alcohol mixed into a healthy lifestyle . I feel for the first time I have gained back control over this and feel great . I’m also really happy that I didn’t have to completely stop as o feel as though I would of lost our to the addiction . I also had addictions to other things it’s a behaviour . And if you can fix that you can fix many things in your life .
@@namastetyson I haven’t drunk for a good while now and just would like to start off with saying the rewards and benefits are worth fighting for, i Beleive everyone has a magnificent version of their selfs that just needs to be unlocked . If I had told my self this a year or 2 ago I would of probably laughed and rolled my eyes . However it is the truth . For me drinking became a bit of coping mechanism whenever I would get stressed (mostly money was the center of a lot of stress ) I did actually under go some counseling which was great it actually helped me cope with a lot of my feelings . And taught me to only worry about the now and only focus on what u can control and change in that moment and not a bunch of other things which can end up causing anxiety and all that other negative energy which ultimately can lead to somone going back into their old habits. I have found since I have trained my brain to think in a different way I have managed to change my whole life rather than just quit the drinking . It is easier said than done though .
@@namastetyson wow just read my Msg from 2 years ago . I was in a bit of a dark place then . And felt really unwell in my self . Incredible to look back on this

Keep track of how much you drink, then you know if you are cutting down. Set yourseIf goaIs - don't make them too difficuIt at first. Pick 1 or 2 days or every week when you wiII not drink at aII. Michael you have saved me! I've been dealing with years of self hate and your videos have really helped me learn to love myself. I still have a lot of demons to overcome and would be most grateful if you could do a video to help overcome addiction?
Completed first session without falling asleep. I have an ADHD brain so sometimes I had incredible deep and almost psychedelic visions and sometimes completely drifted away thoughts. Will keep listening and reprogramming. Definitely feel incredibly well and positive.
I have been fee of alcohol since December 2021. I can't thank you enough for your wonderful collection of hypnotherapy. Would you mind doing one on talkin less and over-sharing. I was abused as a child and I have the habit of over-sharing as a result of fight or flight I want to invite more silence in my life and am looking to learn that not everyone has my well being in mind, so I should be so open. I'm sure this will work for me in reprogramming my mind (I went to thousands of AA mewtings and .my programming was that I was utterly powerless).a million thank yous!
alcoholism is one of the most dangerous diseases. the strange thing is alcohol is legal and most people who drink do not become alcoholics but a few do. genetics, tendency to drink more than usual, managing stress, stressful/ tough life events are some of the things that can lead a normal drinker towards alcoholism.
Wow I think I was really hypnotized! I remember the beginning of the video and the next thing I heard was take a deep breath and stretch. That’s when I picked up the phone and realized the video was basically over.
Just about to go thru a real nasty methadone withdrawal.. Ain't looking forward to this. Over 4 years I've been back out now... So desperate for a day clean.... Thanx for uploading these video's my friend... So grateful.. Last time I did this I couldn't get access to this stuff. So thank you
Good Luck to you and God Bless! I am almost 1 year clean from heroin, it is so hard but also SO worth it! You CAN do it! Stay strong, your life depends on it! 😊
If you tell yourself it's gonna be real nasty then it will be. The way you think is so important. Hope it wasn't too bad and you've been successful. I've been there and know it isn't easy ✌
Michael Sealey, you are an angel. Your videos are changing my brain in the best possible ways and this one worked like a charm from the very first listen. Thank you so very much. Many blessings to you.
I am going to try this. I am doing a benzo taper. I took it as prescribed. Never being told it's dangers. I am 70 years old. I have had surgeries that required long rehab. I have had some serious illnesses in my life. This is a TRUTH. I have NEVER suffered this bad in my life. It is terrifying. It is like living in hell. For years.
19 days? You're doing really great. Make good plans for the holidays for your sobriety. Feel great about having a sober holiday so that you can enjoy it even more. Alcohol addiction is a bear because it's legal and everywhere and part of our social fabric. Keep your eyes on the prize.
This video is brilliant ! The hypnosis really deep, we follow your voice and get taken to a good place. The STOP sign really worked for me, as well as being a giant and crushing bottles under my feet. This video has enabled me to remain alcohol free for about a month. Great progress. And I think it gives you deep resolve... you just "aren't in that place" (the drinking place) anymore. Congratulations on this clip !
I just wanted to say Thank you to Michael Sealey for his work and that he shares it. You have helped me in so many aspects and areas of my life. I am truly grateful that I came across your work. I can not thank you enough!
Michael, I am only one soul of many that truly appreciates you. It matters that you care to research, study, write and rehearse your material because I think it is coming from a good place and it's not as easy as people think it would be. Your preparation is very professional but I find you as a real person. I wish you personal and economic success in all your endeavors...
Ooook so I started drinking heavily 9 months ago when I ended a ten year relationship.... went from a personal to a half pint to a full pint everyday. A few days ago I decided I couldn't take the forever urge to drink and I remembered when I had wanted to stop smoking I did a hypnosis online that worked pretty great. So the first few days I tried not to drink on my own, absolute fail I considered on the second day going to aa which would be hard on my ego, I drank again. Last night after day drinking I decided it had to stop so I looked up a few vids and this was at the top. I followed instructions to the t and ended up falling asleep when it was almost over...i wasnt sleep before but i was resting and still hearing...this may be a little quick to assume something is working bc it took a few lessons with the smoking but guess who DID NOT DRINK today???? Me ...everytime I thought about getting even a small bottle I could hear myself say no you dont need to . Or if you get one you'll want more!!!! I'm going to listen again tonight. Thank you for this vid ❤❤❤

Bravo👏🏻 This was a last piece of the puzzle in my research on alcoholism and it’s treatment and prevention. I found this technique used for myself as well. Forever grateful to you for this publication.

I've never tried this kind of therapy before. It was so weird but amazing at the same time. It brought so much to the surface that I've never even thought about
Wow, that was really cool; listened in the middle of the day, might have dozed off during but came to hearing him counting the numbers and woke up fully 🙌🏽🙌🏽
If you slip, don't have any guilt! Just stop drinking again. If you have to stop drinking hundreds or thousands of times, that is just fine. Do not feel guilty if you fall off the wagon! It will just make it that much harder to stop again. No guilt, no shame, just try every day.
So true, when I weighed in at my all time weight of 302 ibs I thought booze was the answer, it, so I thought helped me stop the guilt ridden mornings with another piece of pie or cake etc. Instead I replaced food addiction with Binge drinking- galore. too sad eh. But as you read me throughout, I am more than done. I want to live another 40 years and see another sunrise.
Thank you for this. I have been listening to you for over a year, and love your work. Chose to become sober 3 days ago and was so pleased to see you had an addiction hypnosis
That last message was sent off too soon. Michael, thank you for sharing your gift. I am so entirely grateful to have come across you. Your guidance has helped me begin to get the strength to pull myself out of a long 'gray' period. My first steps towards motivation, courage and health. Thank you again.

Hopefully puts me to sleep, insomnia and anxiety gets me ATM haven't lasted more than 3-4 days for awhile without a drink, haven't been putting to much pressure on my self though. This time focus on gut health..see what happens. Maybe this too!

78 days sober. This video has been such a huge help. Bless you, Michael
I know it's working for me too. I fall asleep before it ends but feel by brain is still lissening??

@@allisonbradley5603 im curious too.
I used to have a terrible binge drinking issue 2 years sober almost and was very close to picking up so listening to this is helping 😊
Fell off the wagon and I need to be sober I want it I deserve it.. I feel so much BETTER when I DON'T drink.
🙏🏻
Don't beat yourself up. Today is a new day. That's all we can do.
Your not alone, it is very hard to get sober but I believe if it is in our conscious mind to want to that we will get there one day 🙏🙏🙏

Well done, Tim!
@@timgaucibuilds well done! What a great, emotional journey you have been on! All the best x
@@timgaucibuilds This is so inspiring for me to read. You have achieved so so much. Thank you 🙏🏽❤️

How are you doing now?
How are you Eithiriel? ❤️
@@katgilbert8507 I'm good! How are you?
Way to go Martine!
Steve Goldberg I totally agree, by facing (embracing) the shadow/demon, it becomes transmuted into awareness. Acceptance then removes the fear. Great minds think alike, Dr. Goldberg!
Martine Peters I bet you're feeling so much better!
I started drinking as a self-treatment for my PTSD following abuse. Therapy for a few years has been helpful, but at times I get flashbacks and this helps a little.

Playing this video and listening to your soothing voice was the best choice I have made in a while.
I'm done with drinking and smoking as of yesterday. It was slowly killing me.
I woke up at 4am after drinking alcohol , feeling fed up after quite a few failed attempts to stop for good . I have convinced myself that yesterday was the last day . I am going to listen to this video today before work . I would love to look back a year from now from this post and to say I did it.
Tom Fernandi how is it going ?
@@tomfernandi8496 so how can I change my addictive behaviour.
Any advice would be welcome.
You have come along way. Well done ❤️❤️🙏🏽

Take a break from drinking.
Keep track of how much you drink, then you know if you are cutting down.
Set yourseIf goaIs - don't make them too difficuIt at first.
Pick 1 or 2 days or every week when you wiII not drink at aII. Then, try to stop drinking for one week per month.

whats AA brainwhasing ? how many perils out there ...
alcoholism is one of the most dangerous diseases. the strange thing is alcohol is legal and most people who drink do not become alcoholics but a few do. genetics, tendency to drink more than usual, managing stress, stressful/ tough life events are some of the things that can lead a normal drinker towards alcoholism.
so true i drink not to get drunk but to shave the edge off of my lifes worries

Thank you for this vid ❤❤❤
well done you.

Thank you for this🙏🏾
