DMZ Season 4 Reloaded has been pretty rough so far but as of today, the DMZ "Plea for Help" feature is being reverted so if you down/finish an enemy, you'll be able to revive them again! Today, we'll be working towards some upgrades to our Wallet, Key Stash and Contraband stash and hooking up with @Phixate a little later one. It's amazing how much more aware of your surroundings being solo makes you. You notice the smallest of things/movements.
I mostly play solo since season 1, the best compliment I got when finally played with someone I team up while In the game was him telling his brother who was in his room "this guy was so DMZ smart" while we exfills fully geared, at that time I learned to move on the map fast and stealthly, knew where everything was so we did his mission form that season quite fast told him that if he saw reinforcement helps from far it meant players where there.
The sense of being outnumbered always keeps you on your toes 😂
You are absolutely right about removing perks as teams get larger, let’s hope the devs are listening. Loving the content, thanks Westie.
The grace periods for pleas should be at least 120 seconds so the enemy team doesn't pick you back up just to thrust you in 30 seconds, not much time to run and plate up when a trio is on your ass! another great move by infinity ward! good job....

A little tip when you are a Solo, i always go for the taraq koschei entrance, find the two keys and exfill through L2 in koschei. i almost always find a l2 key near the buy station :D so that is a very good alternative to last exfill

Any squad with more than 3 players should be marked like a hunt squad mission, with an area of operation. The caviat should be that as the team gets bigger, the locator gets more accurate on the map. However, if the big team goes beyond a certain distance from one another the ping becomes intermittent. I don't think taking away kill streaks would be fun and ruins the power trip of being a fully loaded 6 man. Just make it balanced in a way that solos or duos can harass the big squads

Last night the assimilation worked wonders for me, a team killed my teamate and me, my random teamate immediately left, I heard them speak Spanish (my lenguage) so I plea to see what they were doing, we talk and laugh I let them take everything I had they revived me and we choose to be a team did my regain and left with a lot more gear than they took.
I'm so bummed I missed a Westie and Phix live collab!! This was a great stream.
I feel like Phixate was WAY more talkative with Westie. Don't roast me but I think Phixate has a better dinamic with Westie & El Claptain than with On1c😬😬🤭🤭
I love your idea about the assimilation rules. Think that works great to keep things in check. I also wonder about not allowing teams of 5 or more to use vehicles

Sad I missed it live! Yeah I beat a 3-man once as the last man standing of my squad and it was hell. Beating a 6-man solo would be a feat worthy of its own montage lol
You find the usb sticks in the police station I always go there to loot up because the Market is next to it and I can get the stealth or comms so easily

Solo/Duo players should only be given the options to assimilate/pleas with timer. Trios just get the pleas with timer..imo. no more 4,5,6 man squads.
On the issue of 6 man teams, either completely get rid of assimilation and the plea system or leave it alone. It's unfortunate but if solos and duos want to play the game without assimilating then they will probably fall victim to people who are open to assimilation. There are many ways to play dmz but it is still COD and PVP is a part of the game. I don't agree that platoons should be nerfed but I don't necessarily agree with them being able to do hunt contracts (even though the devs seem to encourage pvp as well as players cooperating with eachother). I think 6 man squads, pre-made or spontaneous, make dmz more interesting and if someone decides to run as a solo, duo or trio and not assimilate then they do so at their own risk.

I like the new plea system with the 30 seconds of neutral because I always would accidentally invite a down player to our team.
I think its good. I drop or get dropped as a solo this gives you a second chance and now you dont auto assimilate that's even better.

If they aren't going to remove 6 man teams, they should at least level the playing field. Take away their ability to use UAVs. 6 man teams are shown on the map every 60 seconds. Reduce their XP and ability to gather money.
Its good they removed the looting players that are pleading feature since almazrah is full of toxic players, but worse because they make it so you cant let revived enemies join you only if you invite them, i tried playing dmz to see if its better now, just different, you cant loot players that plead, but now makes it so they join your team after reviving them.
W Activision for Stopping dmz toxicity by reverting the update but keeping the loot pleading players feature removed

Yesterday I revived an enemy but after 30 seconds he start shooting to me, and killed again, not suppose a revived enemy is your ally now.

That 600 I’m wondering if it’s bugged cause I got a it a couple weeks ago I think and I only started playing at the beginning of season 3!
But I dunno if I did extract 600 times although I did do a 48hr run on no sleep, looked like something out the walking dead! 😂😂

I am starting to think that the plea system is being used as a strat. I can' t count how many times in the last couple of weeks I have tried to respond to a plea and, just as I am getting close the plea disappears and I get gunned down by a team that is usually larger than 3.
Perhaps it is just my bad luck, but it seems to be happening a whole lot lately.
Probably just the killers of the plea body camping

Maybe to avoid 6 man premade teams, early in game only allow assimilation of 3 - 4 man teams and after the final extraction then they are allowed to assimilate 5 - 6 man teams, it still sucks to be downed by 6 of them at final extract but also makes the normal extraction and personal extraction makes sense
