I found northern sea oats grass on the clearance section at Lowe’s for $4 it got my attention because to me it looks so much like bamboo in bloom!
I planted it in a tall slender ceramic pot by itself for a focal point and it’s been growing so much and very beautiful. I’m scared of bamboo so this is a great replacement.

I like the size of the logo on the v neck! Congrats on all your new offerings, looks like nice quality. Robbie your spiral topiary looks like its getting too large for the pot it is in, it would have more of a presence in something larger.

Northern Sea Oats got much larger than what you said in my garden (SE Michigan). Over 6 feet tall and 3 feet wideish. And, boy does it spread by those seeds. Cut them off (sadly because I loved the look) way before they start to distribute. I pulled my plant 2 years ago and I'm STILL pulling out seedlings. Like I pulled over 100 yesterday. It's a real bummer because I loved the look of the plant in the fall but I just can't deal with what it does.
Put it in a pot, to keep it under control

I think you should corner the marker on plant tags. Id love to label my more fancy plants but plastic is so ugly. I don’t mind rewriting every couple years if the tag isn’t rusty.
Do you ever remove the flower stems from your dusty miller? I personally don't like the look of it when it flowers. It looks like it's going to seed.
Love them all, except no long sleeve ones....too bad!!
Try the hakonechloa in part sun to part shade with plenty of water... In my experience they grow a bit slower with less sun but it gets them through our hot dry valley summers without missing a beat & once they make it through the first year they are pretty tough. I planted one 2 or 3 years ago in a part shade area & I've been able to make 3 divisions from it.

Nice merch. Like the colors as well. Love the “it’s fine” metal laser cut tag. I say “I’m fine” all the time so it’s fine is right up my alley. Also I read somewhere fine is code for ‘feelings inside not expressed’ that tracks for me too. Wishing you much success in all you do.

Love the merchandise! In my experience, the Northern Sea Oats only spreads if you leave the seed heads on the plant. I cut them in late summer and dry them. They make beautiful dried centerpieces.

Love the merch! I grow Inland Sea Oats (same plant, different common name) in Crazy Weather Texas, extreme heat, extreme drought, extreme cold (also known as Zone 8b or maybe a, depending) . It is a tough plant. I completely ignore it and it grows extremely well in the shade or in the sun. It survived -3 degrees, then 3 months later blistering heat and drought when we couldn't water and it just grew. It is a bit of a wanderer so I keep an eye on it and control it if needed. I am not disciplined enough to cut the seed heads off.

Robbie, if you get a candle warmer or a hot plate for candles and put your soy candles on it, it will burn for months. Don’t like the wick just heat it from the candle warmer. It will fill your house forever.
