Takaful (or Islamic Insurance) is a form of insurance that provides protection against certain risks under Islamic principles. The money used to pay for takaful comes from the member's savings and/or other sources. It may be paid into a takaful fund or paid out as a benefit to the member in the case of death or disability.
Takaful is an Arabic word meaning "trust". In Islamic finance, it can refer to several different types of insurance plans that protect members against financial loss due to certain risks.
The most common types of takaful are General Takaful and Family Takaful. It is becoming increasingly popular among Muslims around the world because it can help people protect themselves from unforeseen events without violating their religious beliefs.

Asalaamu Alaikum I have a question I am a new Muslim. I’m trying to make sure my affairs are in order ahead of time in case I pass away. Burial services are only increasing in price in the United States. If we can’t participate in life insurance how do you ensure that we have the funding available to be buried if we fall on financial hardship? The last I checked burial in my area was $6000 which isn’t expensive. However it changes constantly.
