I'm calling it now, Aoyama will die in the upcoming battle.
Firstly, there's no way Aoyama would be allowed to continue hero work after the war with the villains, and would likely go to prison.
Secondly, the only real way for Aoyama to redeem himself would be for him to sacrifice his own life to help the heroes.
Thirdly, we've already seen a possible foreshadowing of Aoyama dying through an act of self sacrifice.
In the hero license exam, when he shot his laser into the sky and was ready to sacrifice himself so the others could pass, that was symbolic of Aoyama's eventual fate. He can't be a hero like the other students, but he can be a different kind of hero. The kind that sacrifices themself to save others. A tragic hero.

The scary thing is twices quirk can provide an infinite number of blood. As it was shown when twice used a clones blood for a blood transfusion with toga. So a clones blood works meaning she just needs to collect a bunch of twice's blood and any clones she creates
Twice clones are half as powerful as real twice. And a clone of a clone is a quarter as powerful. So while the idea is interesting the returns would be diminishing.
Wouldn't the blood deteriorate though? I mean, once the original died so did all the clones so any blood samples taken from a clone would turn into the same shitty substance that they all do.
@@NoirRaven If that's the case then wouldn't the blood given to Toga (via Toga's clone) also would have turned to mush inside Toga, but it didn't.
@@brittanywilliams8653 It technically should have. Perhaps it wasn't a clone but the original? They do get confused sometimes. I guess, if you want me to reach for this, that by the time the clones died, the blood was completely cycled and remade as all cells are every 7 years or so.
@@NoirRaven no the blood remains. If you look at the flashback where all of twice's clones kill eachother, you see all the grey muck that the clones turn into but you also see blood splattered across the room. Meaning that although the clone disappears any external traces of blood remains
Considering how the Sludge Villain is back, imagine if he gets High End Nomuized and essentially gets more quirks that make him like Venom in a way and he ends up fighting Bakugo one on one.

The chapter shows Toga's desire to revisit her past before seeming to go down the path of no return with Dabi to burn home (with Dabi's fire which consumed him of his body to give him his burns and consume him of his hatred) and tell her to use Twice's blood.
To dramaticize the conflict set with Uraraka. That a part of her still lingers for normalcy, for acceptance. That's why she wants to relate with Uraraka (like a normal girl, doing normal things like talk about the boy they like, etc.) Toga still lingers for some normalcy as she has memories of people rejecting her, before parting with the house. And Dabi wants a companion like himself, to be consumed in vengence like he is.

I think as deranged as dabi is, it's sort of wholesome to see him be a sort of big brother to toga in a weird way. When she obviously is feeling a certain way about her old home, he does her a favor and destroy it for her. he gains nothing from doing this, shows he's got at least some part of him that's a normal human
He was a man who felt he was abandoned by his family... It makes sense that he would want to find a new one. The league functions as his home and its members his new siblings; so with that he would want their remaining days together to be filled with laughter and happiness... even as they walk hand in hand towards the gates of Hell itself.

I actually saw it more as the opposite. He sensed Toga’s feelings of doubt and possibly regret so he burned her home down to solidify the fact that there’s no going back. Toya doesn’t care about anyone but himself, I’m sure Toga is aware of this and is considering betraying the League. Calling it now
Hawks and his feathers might be the only things that can counter Toga when she is using Twice's ability and the sparrow being a foreshadowing of something that Hawks does was something that I did not even think of when I read this chapter.

It's actually terrofying that toga has a blood sample of twice..meaning that the villains can use the sad man's parade yet again..this kinda makes the heroes or specifically hawk's attempt to prevent the sandman's parade all the more meaningless..
But I'm assuming there might not be as powerful as the real sad man's parade was..
If the blood was taken from the actual twice it should be just as powerful. If it was taken from a clone it should only be half as powerful. But the other thing to keep in mind is that unlike twice who could keep it up forever Toga seems to have limitations for how long an amount of blood allows her to change. She's going to be a key piece in whatever the plan is. She's going to be positioned carefully and unleashed at some sort of decisive moment.

before MVA, she never used her own quirk for combat purposes and only for infiltration. and she still held her own pretty well with her acrobatics vs. many strong quirk users.
Makes me wonder if Toga's combined ability of consuming blood for quirks and twice's multiply ability would mean toga can realistically use a sperate quirk for each clone that drinks blood of a compatible person and raises the question of which is deadlier

Toga with Twice's blood is a major issue. And this chapter just highlights that you don't have to be a hero to be someone's hero. AFO was Shigaraki's hero who saved him. Shigaraki is the League's hero for saving them and taking care of them. Spinner is the hero for all of the people who are discriminated for how their quirks make them look. Toga is a hero for all the people who get pushed out of society for having "strange" quirks. And Twice was someone who loved the League and helped them out numerous times, even in his final moments. Even if society labels you as a villain, your actions can still help and save people if no one else will.
The idea of Villain Deku suddenly becomes billion times better than it already is with what you said. And the idea itself alone is already great!
There is a saying that applies here: You are in someone's story a Hero. Yet, to someone else's story, you are the Villain. What this means is that any action you do and how it is viewed is shaped by an observing person's experience, ideals, thoughts, and beliefs. The flip side of this is how you are viewed by others, which has nothing to do with YOUR Experiences, Ideals Thoughts, or Beliefs. So with one and every action, you are both the Hero and the Villain. Or to be blunt: The seeds of the next War are sown in the Bloody Fields of the current War.
Amazing how we see the core values of true heroes in the villains while the majority of heroes before their purge were egotistical narcissists who either saw heroism as a claim to fame or a meal ticket.
Hirokoshi probably made this series as a love letter to the old American hero comics but whether he realized it or not it became a parody because in the golden age of American comics they never shied away from the darker side of heroism or society. They embraced the madness of good vs evil and the grey that exists in between as well as the chaos of a society that more often than not would blur the line so much you didn't know who was good or bad or right or wrong; you just read to the end and made your own judgements when all was said and done.
This series tries to hold onto the line that there is good and there is evil even as the society in this story continues to flip the roles like Two Face's coin, but ultimately the story will end the way Hirokoshi wants it to; with good triumphing over evil... even as those who might as well be evil becoming justified in the horrible road they walked because they were on the side of good.
@@white0thunderwhite0thunder71 Generally the way Horikoshi depicts Villains also seems to be heavily inspired by Batmans rogue gallery and its one bad day sentiment, as similar to many of Batmans foes, most members of the League of Villain weren't born evil or just chose to strive for World Domination, but instead where well-intentioned people who had a misfortune that dissasociated them from society happening to them. And being a Manga and therefore a serialized formate that isn't bound to a status quo that needs to be uphold and that remains in the hand of one autor, he can go all into that theme with his villains, letting them find companionship and acceptance with each other. The Batman influence is expecially there with the ambition of Deku shifting from just being a great hero and saving the day by defeating the villain into wanting to save his arch-nemesis, which is something Batman often struggles to do with his rogues, especially the Joker.
I dig seeing dabi and toga interacting, feels Like a Cheech and Chong kinda vibe real close and copacetic while having some distance.
If Twice returned with Toga's using his blood, that will be awesome! On the surface, at least. Because we all know that this is not the actual Twice but just one of his clones. But still, it will be great to see him again!
P.S: It will be awesome if Toga is the one who put an end to Hawks to avenge Twice.

Awesome? You guys forget that if Hawks didn't do what he did to Twice that literally every hero in Japan would be dead, right? Twice was about to murder every hero in the vicinity. Which would lead to Shigaraki being free to clean up the rest. Let's get this straight; Twice wasn't a saint. He was very charismatic and we sympathized with him because he meant well and was wrongfully treated, but he was willing to kill to help his friends, who were worse villains, in the end. He shouldn't be "avenged" at the cost of a hero who's willing to protect actually innocent people. Hawks wasn't wrong in what he did, he tried multiple times to get Twice to stop, but Twice wasn't the kind of guy to betray his friends.

I'm going to be honest, I don't think any of the villains can be redeemed. As they stated before they've already came this far it's too late to turn back now. Either all villains are going to die or be imprisoned for the rest of their lives, Redemption is not an option at this point.

Going for the villains, finally. Looking at all of this, I’m hoping we at least get to see a villain arc seeing as we still have some more questions left unanswered about some villains and AFO’s past

Oh wow the slime monster from season 1 is back. Good for spinner too. He used to be a bandwagon follower of stain (in his own words) but now he’s become a symbol to those with heteromorph quirks.
Toga is probably one of the most tragic characters in my hero academia you can’t help but feel a bit sorry for her
She's a victim of the hero society. It's kind of strange she didn't become more of a rallying point. Dabi is as well but he got his moment to shine. He got to be the face of resistance showing how ugly the hero world could be when it chose to. It seems like Toga even amongst the villains is just being used. It's kind of depressing that the expectation for her is to drink the blood of the one person who really seemed to care for her in the world and to be used for others desires.

Now that you think about it I think you’re right, because I feel like the story doesn’t really expand to other locations & settings like if there were other heroes in other countries (Other than America for Star & Stripes in the later manga chapters). @@lorivaldez4839 Horikoshi has a habit of promising some really big story expansions or powerful opposition for the heroes only to say, "Just kidding! The villains never stood a chance so there's no reason to change things!"
I REALLY hate that sort of "carrot on a treadmill with no payoff" sort of writing. He gets to make big promises then take it back the very next page leaving you annoyed and blue balled.
Soooo. That was a chapter. The heroes are going a million miles per hour. And the villains are all stuck in ruts as they have lost all meaning of time. And the villains all have GIGANTIC aces up their sleeves. Toga’s ace is terrifying. The quirk Twice can single handedly end everything. If she makes a copy of AFO or Machia, and they need to take a hit that breaks an arm, it’s over. Fully and completely. Because at that point it’s no different than having the actual ones on the field. A United States of Smash was a bruise on AFO’s cheek.
With Toga’s consistently closing off heart, yeah Uraraka might NOT be able to save her. Her need of acceptance can be gotten to but from who is a different question. Uraraka may have a finale worthy battle with her, or it comes down to her other exploit. Her rejection from her own family. This chapter gave us an in depth. Her family ran and hid because they were ostracized just like Toga. Likely even changing their names. And I think I’ve put together the possibility that we have actually MET her family.
With Toga’s blonde hair, obsessive nature, GIGANTIC smile, and shitty SHITTY parents that have no concept of how to raise children, not to mention her copy side of her quirk. Monoma…could very well be Toga’s actual brother. Now that we know her family fled her home from disgrace, that actually increases the chances of their relationship. Although Uraraka and Toga likely have a score as Uraraka TRIES to get in her head and understand her like Deku would, at the end of the day she is not an empath. So it would likely require someone that actually knows how shitty her family is to save her. Like Monoma who quite literally views himself as a side character because he can’t be the main guy even in his own life with his quirk as far as he’s concerned.

I've always thought it was a shame that they never delved deeper into some of the ramifications of this hero society. How it drives some folks to being villains. Toga has a quirk that people find unsettling. So instead of being nurtured and shown a way that she could still enjoy blood but do it and still help people she was pushed away. Told she was gross and that the things she loved made her evil. She was forced down an unfortunate path. Similar can be said for Dabi. Then of course you do have some other characters who are striving against that stuff. Like Shinso who's told pretty regularly that his quirk seems like a villains. Or Tokoyami and his Dark shadow. One of the things I thought was most interesting about my hero was the popularity contest aspect of the hero world. More popular hero's getting more funding not necessarily because of great acts but because of perception. They really didn't do nearly enough with it. I mean considering that Stains ideology of the broken fake hero world was the kicking off point of most of these characters involvement you'd think that they'd have done more with it. I have always thought at some point the villains were going to end up divided into two camps. Those that were behind AFO and those who were behind Stain. I find myself more and more being drawn to the story of Vigilantes and less and less to main line. Looks like Vigilantes is down to it's last handful of issues. It'll be interesting to see if they end it in a way that lets any of those characters transfer over for the final arch of main line. That might bring me back into caring more.
Wdym dive deeper? The entire series is about delving into the ramifications of hero society.

@@exturkconner quirk marriages and the entirety of the todoroki family are a big shining example of it. So is the series most famous villain and the entire main villain group. Everyone of the main characters and villains are a shining example of how hero society failed many kids. Shigaraki was left homeless because of it, Dabi went insane, Eri was abused so that Overhaul could take advantage of it, the main character for years was bullied and UA traitor who caused most major villain attacks exists because of prejudice towards quirkless people, Kirishima ended up with self-esteem issues because hero society encourages flashy quirks over genuine heroics. It's hardly just touched on it.
@@kanemccarthy1979 No it's pretty much just touched on. They've barely delved into any of it. Shigarki wasn't left homeless because of it. He murdered his entire family starting from having his quirk respond out of control. The only one he desired to murder was his father. His fathers stance on hero's and not wanting to be involved in that certainly led to Shigaraki's unstable nature. that and the grief over what he did to the rest of his family. But that isn't directly tied to hero society as a whole. The stuff the doctor said about generational growth basically hasn't been touched on post him saying it. Toga's situation basically hasn't been revealed to anyone other than the viewer. So it's not explored with other characters. Deku and Aoyama's juxtaposition is more a show of how two different people might respond to being put in the same position than it is about society at large. And the whole bullying people who are quirkless thing seems really weird. The series tells you 20% of the population is quirkless. But they act more like it's 2%. You should see a lot more quirkless people. Deku shouldn't have been the only quirkless kid in his class as a boy by percentage there should have been at least one other. Left handed people in our world are twice as rare (10% of the population) as quirkless people in the my hero world.

My hero’s on break after these set up chapters is either a convince or preparing for the 1st chapter of this new arc. Either way the break is 100% deserved. Great content also plot armour, looking forward to the reviews of others and this series especially with how it’s preparing for a big arc.
I had an idea that Shinzo will use his quirk to command Kurogiri to use his quirk to help separate them in the final battle 🤔

I guess the strategy is to Divide them, Tear them apart. That is pretty villainous for a heroic strategy.
Couple that with AfO saying that Spinner can be a hero for the heteromorphs, and one gets a quasi role reversal.
Divide and Conquer, it's just a simple strategy. Nothing heroic nor villainous to it. Which is rather fitting, the heroes are being pushed up to the point where they can no longer approach this in a purely 'heroic' mindset of saving people and defeating the villainy in a flashy way. They are fighting a war, and they have to approach it as such.

Toga does not need to make an army by herself with Twice's blood she only needs to make one and save the rest of the energy for later use and that one copy can make more copies and as long as one remains he will be able to live on with toga.

Toga having twice's blood is it's not too surprising remember the creator of my hero academia Kohei Horikoshi like to put strange art designs on his Twitter for the fans to watch and one of them was a picture of toga in twice's outfit I remember this was done nearly 2 years ago meeting way back then he was thinking ahead of everybody and since it's rumored that the story is going to end in the next year you definitely know there's going to be some crazy moments we're done with that a sad Man's parade toga style and since the beginning she doesn't have a villain name of her own why not give her own I can just see it in my head is that the way to greet me toga is dead call me twice just like how Dabi said call me Yoya love this chapter.
yo imagine if the dream toga had about the sparrow is foreshadowing her death by the hands of hawks but hawks also dies or since the sparrow was in her she ends up ingesting his blood
Here’s a really scary idea of how she can make Twice’s quirk really terrifying she and the rest of her villain buddies bust out Gigantomachia and Redestro and she makes a squad of their copies I mean can u imagine a team made up of clones from those titans
This is the best chapter ever since the war, I swear I wish my hero academia was just my villain academia every since the war because the villains are just the best but that would ruin the themes

Probably not, first off the clones are weak as hell. They'd have to keep him in a Plaatic bubble and twices mental state was wonky and we ca assume the clones are even more mentally unstable so they eventually start Killing each other again

Twice was one of my favorite characters fuck hawks. When twice was introduced we get insight into his daily life before he puts on his mask, and it really humanizes and explains why a lot of these people turn to villainy. Also it warms my heart that toga can turn into twice because he was one of the only “family” members she had that actually cared for her

Well except for Shigaraki and his mother
Well, parents are a major factor in how a child turns out. Sure there are instances where parenting doesn't affect the child at all (maybe they were born without parents, had a traumatic event outside of their family life, etc) but I don't think it's common for people to turn hateful and cruel without a prominent figure pushing them towards that mentality. Also, evil for the sake of evil isn't something many people like in storytelling. Giving the league bad parents makes them realistic because we've all felt mistreated by our parents at some point. Maybe not to the extent of Dabi or Toga, but it's something small I think a majority of people can latch on to.
I think what makes it even more tragic is that the parents thought they were doing what was best for their kids. Toga's parents knew the world would never accept her so they thought by quelling her love of blood, she could have a normal life and be happy but it backfired. Endeavor thought by having more children, it would encourage Toya to let go of his idea to be a hero and stop training so he wouldn't get burned but that too backfired. It reminds me of a quote, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."

I saw that coming with toga as soon as they killed twice off. His quirk is too clutch to throw away completely

Also, I loved how Toga called Dabi "Touya" in this chapter, instead of "Dabi."

Even if the heroes defeat and capture all the villains, there is still one villain who is more powerful than Shigaraki and AFO combined. And if left unchecked he can create more powerful villains in the future. That villain is simply known as...... Society!!!

With Spinner I'll bet that Shoji, Mina, Tsy and Tokoyami will be the ones sent to fight him- since they all have probably been judged at some point for their mutant type (alters their appearance) quirks and we know Shoji has scared off many people with his face which is why he wears the mask. Some elaboration into that backstory could be really compelling I think.
Both mina and Tokoyami don't have heteromorphic quirks

I wouldn’t be surprised if bakugo encounters the sludge villain for a “rematch” of sorts, while they’re on patrol or something. Like how deku had a round 2 with muscular. Not to mention I find it interesting that bakugo is among the main main cast without an arch-nemesis. Like dekus rematch (if bakugo gets one) I imagine it’ll be of melodrama with bakugo remembering him but also displaying how much he’s progressed since middle school.
It occurred to me: the Heteramorph-racism angle MIGHT be Shoji's moment in the series.
It would be cruel to bring Twice back like this. A big part of his mental problems was not knowing if he was the real him or if he was just another clone. Plus, if memory serves, it was finding out that he wasn't a clone that helped him push forward. If Toga created a clone of Twice, how is THAT man going to feel/react when he finds out the real Twice died in the war.
