This music video is pure poetry. Lake Baikal is a sacred place. Its waters - and even the ice that covers it in winter - are translucent. In the film "Spirit of Baikal" of which this song is the original soundtrack, the boy is consumed by grief following his mother's death. He is taken to the lake as a palliative measure. There, the party become stranded and lost in a blizzard. Diana - who in the film is cast - yes, she is officially an actress too now(!) - both as the spirit of the lake and as (the voice of) the dead mother - appears to the boy beneath the ice. She both challenges and guides him. The frozen lake and its spirit within are metaphors for the boy's broken heart. His eventual rescue is a metaphor for his coming to terms with his loss and emotional recovery. It is a parable of self-reliance - there are repeated allusions to Diana and the boy being one.

I think this song has something in common with her earlier iconic song "Rechenka" -- probably the folk/ethnic elements. Anyway, it's an amazing song and video, and it's great to see Diana Ankudinova stretching in the is direction again. She can do anything!
The plot of this video is as follows: The boy got lost at night on the ice of Lake Baikal. He has no strength and he lies and freezes. In winter, in extreme cold, in order not to freeze, you need to move continuously! According to legends, Lake Baikal is guarded by its spirit. So this spirit sees a freezing motionless boy and decides to save him. The spirit (performed by Diana) appears before the boy in the image of his deceased mother and tells the boy to move, otherwise he will freeze to death! Then, in the image of the spirit of Baikal, the boy scares a little and he starts to move - this saves him! Morning comes and the boy goes to the shore of the lake, where he is rescued by adults who are looking for him all night!
