Production really did Jenn a disservice by casting a bunch of guys who were hoping to date Maria. They should've delayed the show a bit and re-done the casting.
This all makes sense now. She was my favorite and I was 100% sure she was going to be the bachelorette. I like Jenn but when I saw it wasn’t her I was completely confused. Now I see it was because she turned it down. I knew she was a fan favorite and it didn’t make sense to me why they didn’t pick her. I thought maybe it was because they wanted to go with diversity but now I see. I’m devastated, she’s got such a crazy personality it would have been fun to watch her in the show.
Oh well, Jenn took the gig $100,000 except she demanded more, seeing Daisy and Maria bailed, hope she did. Goodluck Jenn, she was also a sweet girl and she fits the diversity standard for the show as well.
Jen wasn't even the backup, she was the fourth choice. Maria declined, Daisy declined and Rachel declined. Jen was fourth choice and still not a good choice.

None of the girls on Joey’s season were unattractive in a physical sense but their personalities might not grab you, making you see someone as unattractive, but every woman on that season and in the past seasons have all been attractive…
