Great video Andruw! That log had “STOP SIGN” written all over it had it been at the bus motor production mill! Super example of the pros and cons of a log deck and turner versus space for a front loader to do the log spinning. Keep up the good work, stay warm and safe! ZZ Mark
Amazing. Two brutes with such a soft touch. Really impressive. Where are you guys located ( just found your channel ) I’m in central NY , thanks , subscribed!
Good to see you fellers at it again every time I watch a Video i start waiting for the next one! young Andrew's dreaming of that big mill I'm dreaming of something like what you already got! God Bless y'all see you next time
Hey, question for you men. Those logs behind you at the end, that look like they had a lot of sap run…were they cut in the Spring? I bought two loads that are sappy like that and the lumber tends to be a shade darker than late summer cut logs. Have you guys noticed anything?
To be honest we haven’t never really noticed anything in the lumber. There is some difference in the density but we believe that’s just where they grow. Them logs was cut about end October first November
It sure was ugly. But it's usually the ugly logs that yield the pretty wood. 3/4"x15" is a really wide board. A book matched pair of those would make a nice table top.
Hi, Andruw, great videos! How about a tour of your dad’s sharpening shop? That would be interesting.
Ok we might try to get that on a video one day. Thanks for watching
Great sawing, guys. Also, great job of turning that log with the tractor. As Mark Galicic would say "BOOM".

I am mesmerized by the hum of the engine and captivated by your skill in maximizing the yield on those logs. Thanks!

Been watching U2 for a while, when I worked in a mill ,in the 70s we had a lot of trouble with horse shoes growing in our bull pine, Not Good!
