It may make more sense at this exact moment to ask how Dems went from people party to imperialist right wingers.

Yeah but that won't give you as much opportunity to talk about white men and genocide. Count how many times the guest says "genocide" or "genocidal."

That would be what would happen on a less controlled-messaging venue, like KPFA of earlier times. Most of the guests here are selling an establishment (faux-left) narrative.

The American south was just the next frontier in which to spread good Christian virtue. After that came the west, and after that, the rest. The north east white Anglo-Saxon protestant establishment has always ruled America. They have gone blue or at least purple in recent decades as their evangelical cousins in the south have gone the other way. But when the New England WASPs were Republicans they ruled America uncontested. Their latest conquest was spreading wasp colonization theory via DEI, which came out of the northeast.

Excellent, excellent overview of post-Civil War reconstruction era US polity, colonialism, racism, Native American genocide, class conflict, Supreme Court injustice, unregulated capitalism, and plantation economics extending to new annexed territories abroad.
I studied in high school history in Sydney the US Civil War in enormous depth for an entire year in modern history. Always have been under-aware regarding the 1865 to 1910 period. Thank you to you both!

Pudgy Michael Stipe and someone who has no idea what America is, discussing America. Great stuff.

You could do a show explaining it all to us. Pretty easy to set up a channel here and post away.

@@dbarker7794 Yeah, that's just what youtube needs. How about figuring stuff out for yourself, instead of being guided by morons, because they decided to buy a microphone and a camera.
