Wow! seeing this has made me realize how far we've recovered from the pandemic. So glad to see that demand in aviation sector has since restored. My personal record for the lowest load factor was 19 passenger on an A359 in Singapore Airlines, around late 2020.

Yeah, one daily flight on this route has been operated with wide-bodies for several years due to the cargo demand. Before the pandemic, also British Airways was using the B787/B777/A350 on this route. At the moment, British Airways doesn't fly to Madrid, so both daily flights operated by Iberia are done with A350/A330. :)
Wow! Three videos this week! 2:20 Nice to know: Madrid airport also uses trucks for luggage, instead of mini tractor trains. But the cargo roof is lower than the ones of normal trucks and can go underneath the wings of the big jets without a problem.

I live here in London, You really are not missing much in all Honesty. You"d be better visiting the nicer areas of the UK such as Kent, Surrey and the Lake District to get a real insight into life in England as London is just Full of People Rushing around and overpriced Shops. Honestly there are far nicer parts of the UK to explore.

Porque esta ruta tiene una enorme demanda de carga. Aunque en la parte de los pasajeros vaya vacía, las bodegas van llenas de carga que rentabiliza el vuelo.
Gran video, bellas vistas, lastima un avión ya grande vaya vacío; no fue posible ver cabina economy premium y bisuness?? Cuidado con la persona que tosió durante el taxing a la terminal. Cuídate mucho.

Yeah, however, the reason of using this plane is mainly the cargo demand of this route and the huge capacity of an A330. Even without pax, the flight is probably close to make profit.
The fact that the plane is with less weight, doesn't mean at all that the plane is gonna takeoff earlier. That would apply in case all the thrust available on the engines would be used. But the normal thing is that for every takeoff, a different thrust setting is used depending on the weight, wind, temperature...

Muchas gracias :) Este modelo se lleva usando durante años para uno de los vuelos diarios a Londres (A330, A340 o A350) y no es por otro motivo que por su capacidad de carga. El dinero que sacan las bodegas llenas de mercancías, compensa lo vacía que va la zona de pasajeros. En época de buena demanda de pasajeros, este vuelo debe sacar un beneficio enorme.
Me extraña que usen un avión tan grande para vuelo tan corto y prácticamente pocos pasajeros...ahora todo el que tose es sospechoso!! (Se oyó en el video)Jaja🙄 me gusto ..fuerte abrazo!!👍🏻

I know the crew needs to make some hours of flying. Maybe some cargo was on board. But 11 passengers...it must have cost Iberia a lot of money to make this trip. Nice views over Spain and France. London was a bit grey. Was it raining overthere?

La verdad ví el titulo y quedé sorprendido , porque obviamente no es rentable , recuerdo que este avión en 2019, específicamente el de evelop o de wamos iban al tope de pasajeros
Error. En esta ruta tan importante es lo que va arriba como lo que va abajo. El motivo por el que se usa este modelo a diario desde hace años es la demanda de carga. Aunque la parte de pasajeros vaya vacía, las bodegas de este avión van siempre con mucha carga que aumenta mucho los ingresos de la compañía. Saludos

No se si se ha comentado en anteriores videos pero tanto la Terminal 4 como la Terminal 4 Satelite (sobre todo esta ultima) pertenecen a Iberia integramente, por eso de que haya tanto logo de Iberia por toda la terminal
Desde luego que NO pertenecen a Iberia. Lo que dices es 100% FALSO. Los aeropuertos son propiedad del Estado y gestionados por AENA. La Terminal era utilizada casi sólo por aerolíneas OneWorld, pero ni eso, pues Emirates y Bulgaria Air la usaban. Ahora aún menos, pues Air Europa también está ahí.
Hace años que los billetes de avión no tienen precios fijos. De hecho, lo normal es que ningún pasajero de un vuelo que va completo haya pagado lo mismo por el billete. A mi en particular me costó alrededor de 60 euros.

Porque en los A320 no cabe la cantidad de carga que cabe en las bodegas de un A330 :)

Desde hace años Iberia usa este modelo (o A350/A340) en esta ruta a diario. El motivo es la demanda de carga y sus enormes bodegas.

I know the crew needs to make some hours of flying. Maybe some cargo was on board. But 11 passengers...it must have cost Iberia a lot of money to make this trip. Nice views over Spain and France. London was a bit grey. Was it raining overthere?
Yeah! The reason for using this plane daily on the route is the cargo demand, which has not dropped with the pandemic.

Las bodegas de estos aviones van siempre llenas de carga en esta ruta. Ese es el motivo de usar A330 y no aviones más pequeños.

Because there is a huge cargo demand on this route. So passengers on this particular flight are just adding more revenue :)

La verdad ví el titulo y quedé sorprendido , porque obviamente no es rentable , recuerdo que este avión en 2019, específicamente el de evelop o de wamos iban al tope de pasajeros
Error. En esta ruta tan importante es lo que va arriba como lo que va abajo.
El motivo por el que se usa este modelo a diario desde hace años es la demanda de carga. Aunque la parte de pasajeros vaya vacía, las bodegas de este avión van siempre con mucha carga que aumenta mucho los ingresos de la compañía.

No se si se ha comentado en anteriores videos pero tanto la Terminal 4 como la Terminal 4 Satelite (sobre todo esta ultima) pertenecen a Iberia integramente, por eso de que haya tanto logo de Iberia por toda la terminal
Desde luego que NO pertenecen a Iberia. Lo que dices es 100% FALSO.
Los aeropuertos son propiedad del Estado y gestionados por AENA.
La Terminal era utilizada casi sólo por aerolíneas OneWorld, pero ni eso, pues Emirates y Bulgaria Air la usaban.
Ahora aún menos, pues Air Europa también está ahí.

La verdad no entiendo para q hay q usar un avión tan grande en un vuelo de apenas una hora y pico cuando se puede usar un 320 u 319 sin prolema
Porque hay una enorme demanda de carga en esta ruta. Los A320 no sirven para ello.

Hace años que los billetes de avión no tienen precios fijos.
De hecho, lo normal es que ningún pasajero de un vuelo que va completo haya pagado lo mismo por el billete.
A mi en particular me costó alrededor de 60 euros.
