Also one more tip from an Argus main , if you're fighting Argus in early game always make sure he uses his 2nd skill first before attacking and DO NOT RETREAT in early game he's pretty weak and can easily be killed if you just stay there but most of the time the heroes i fight against in early is a bit too careless as in he misses his skill and gets hit by my 2nd skill by the time that happens your best chance of winning is to keep fighting but most of them run away , a big mistake especially considering Argus's passive after using his 2md Skill

In Argus' case in XP lane for Balmond, Esme, Balmond and Uranus
If he uses inspire BE VERY CAREFUL because you'll be surprised on how much Argus can shred you at level 1 with the Second Skill and Inspire Combo and it will cause him to get the First blood and dominate the Late and soon dominate the Game

As an Argus main, “counter” 1 and 3 I have measurements against so they wouldn’t work and number 4 can be countered by good mini map management so the best option is really number 2
What's your counter measure for 3? I can somewhat handle stuns now by timing ult properly but mobile heroes i still have trouble with. Just can't catch up to them and if I do it's not really worth even staying in the fight anymore Dx
@@shadpant9255 I use purify, it makes you immune to stun for 2 seconds so because enemies usually use stuns right after the ult activation I catch and kill them in those 2 seconds

Argus is one of the strongest fighter in mlbb but you can easily counter with any hero by running away from his ulti you just have to be smart to counter him, cuz without his ulti he's almost useless cuz he have a very low HP pool and also very squishy despite being a fighter, his ulti is very important cuz he can't fight against burst enemy even if he has an inspire if the enemy can burst him down before he get a chance to and he also can't join teamfights if his ulti is not available the enemy can burst him down.
He's strong against heroes that are squishy and has low mobility

He's weak against heroes that are tanky but has dmg like gatot, fred, gloo, edith (during lane phase)
He's also weak against hero who has high mobility like chou, lance, bene, zilong
It depends on your skills in my opinion. I choose to take his HP bit by bit with paquito on exp lane. However, you need to clear that wave too, which gives you level 2. I don't bother thamuz alot but rather just poke him bit by bit. Then, when I get level 4, I could easily combo him. So it depends on heroes you use AND strategies you make ;)

Dyrroth can beat Thamuz on level 1 because, if the second skill of Dyrroth hit the enemy on both phase (the dash and the jump) then it will do a 75% penetration, if i remember correctly, if the Dyrroth is using vengeance or petrify then it's pretty much a GG, unless some of the enemy is also invading.

Argus is a hero i like to dive with in the backline,targetting their carry MMs and Mages.
Here's the thing,if you have a powerful roamer who is tanky and can distract the enemies,you can easily destroy the backline,the reason I struggle sometimes is because our tank decides to make me front and then when i face the tanky heroes my ult is basically wasted on them as opposed to how I could've easily wipe their backlines

Baxia is also good in countering Thamuz his passive has 30% antiheal and with items like Dominance ice and all will give him a total of 80% antiheal he will any high healing crying at this point
Also Hylos, his second skill will slow down Thamuz basic attack alot if combine with Dominance ice this will make him a hard time healing quickly
Yu Zhong can definitely beat Thamuz on level 1. His passive is just too OP in the laning phase. A skill 2 at the minion wave followed by a basic attack at the enemy will instantly give you an advantage.
Edit: Ok guys lets not have an argument here. I'm saying YZ wins cause I don't go straight to Thamuz face, I just use my passive to slowly drain his HP. Anyway I respect you guys' opinion.
Yup or with the firts skill if you focus on the minion wave, level up and in the level 2 choose the skill 3 and make this combo: 3 + 1 + petrify certainly, you kill her (not the lvl 1 but is in the first 3 minute's in the game),Yu Zhong is strong but he need a buff

Definitely not at level 1. You can try 1v1 with your friends like a headless chicken to see the results. Thamuz true damage hurt more than Yu Zhong's puny heal from his passive.

nope. idk what meth all you idiots smoke, but thamuz can simply run away from yz because he has so much higher movement speed. these short hit and run fights never let yz proc his passive, so he loses badly.

As a Lancelot main, Whenever k go against a Argus; I just run when he has his ult activated, and when he dashed toward me with his first skill, I dash behind him before he uses his second skill

Yes, if you time Argus's ult last minute early game you can extend the longevity of the fight. Late game, he can basically be one shot. He has little base defensive stats and extremely squishy outside his ult. No ult means no team fight. Also , his ult breaks CC, but doesn't prevent him from staying in CC. If you stun, knock back, immobilise or prevent any damage for 4 seconds, he cannot generate any health.
In theory it sounds amazing, but there's a reason he's got one of the lowest popularity % of fighter heroes in mlbb. It's a bit of a one trick, and outside this one cooldown he hasn't got much to offer. His mobility CD is one of the highest in the game, his skill 2 is a short range ability with a cast time that can be easily dodged and the damage over time only works on moving targets (moving using skills also does not trigger bleed, so fanny cables don't bleed while moving)

Yeah argus sucks the gameplay feels not smooth at all he feels slow I think mlbb need some change to him, his pasive is much better before the revamp man I miss the old argus.
For me Valir is so annoying when using Argus cant really do much if i dont camp & in team fights its so hard to get in the backline if Valir is there Argus s1 really need a third dash

Ice queen wand is the most annoying thing tho. Triggers off his dot and slows you by 40% for 2 seconds

I think Lunox is the perfect counter for Balmond. Lunox can easily burst down tanky heroes because of the recent adjustment they made to her
Or you can use ice dominance with Antique Cuirass
As a benedetta main I'll point out a detailed guide on how to defeat Argus.
Key point to remember in mind Argus is a ad carry who builds all damage and no defence and benedetta is a burst-blink specialist assassin with 3 burst damage and two defensive abilities.
Step one use passive dash into Argus. Argus players will then use their either first or second ability. In level one see what they do to understand their pattern. If they don't use ability quickly get your S1 on him for about 1-3rd of his hp. How if he uses his ability use your S2. Block either second or first ability of Argus with S2 that way your passive will be full charge again and then dash away this is when Argus will use his second dash to chase u because he will most likely lose the overall trade. And that is when u use one auto or passive or s1 and ult right thru him and away. U will have an Argus standing in the middle of a benedetta ulti with no blink skills to get away and only his ult. Circle around him for four seconds and then go in and finish off your one hp Argus bro. That's how u defeat Argus in a duel.
Another underrated way is Hanzo. Just pick Hanzo. Use his ult to bait Argus ult and then bye bye.
I just wanna clarify Argus is definitely not the best and most flexible fighter,but he's definitely strong on the right hands,some of the counters are quite easy to surpass by pro Argus players.
The thing is,Argus isn't to be treated like a fighter. Fighters are usually tanky and are very flexible,offlane and teamfights,Argus on the other hand is meant to dish out all his DMG during 5-6 seconds of dive towards the backline.
Argus' 2nd skill is very good,his dash is quite long that if it does connect onto an enemy it's a guarantee 2nd skill connection. If you miss the 1st simply dash away using the additional dash. Once you are able to connect the 2nd which is most likely gonna be the case, enemies won't easily escape. However Argus definitely does struggle against an active full on teamfight tho. He requires some space between the tanky frontlines from the squishy backlines. If that space can be acquired you're solid,if not may God have mercy on your soul
Dyrroth is so strong against all regen and deathless heroes… thamuz, esme, masha just can’t stand fighting him 1v1
I doubt if any hero can 1 vs1 masha with tank build 🧐 because the more go she loses the more her damage and life steal increases u just have to know when to activate and deactivate your skill 1 so u don’t lose a lot of hp

I miss masha back when she got a revamp. She was so scary that you can literally one-shot squishy heroes with her ult. But now she got nerf after nerf that makes it harder to play her in early game
The old energy bar was very broken. Unlimited regen. No fountain runs needed. Super broken.
To correct from balmond: Stun doesn't cancel his 2nd skill, airborne cc or transformation cc can cancel his 2nd skill
Also his speeen animation sometimes disappear and your left with low poly Balmond doing helicoptr without the red effects

another tip to counter masha. dont let her dominate her lane. if she gets any momentum and gains items,your towers are cleared within seconds. her tower dps is no joke if you let her overfarm. so you must go to her lane first and shutdown her before going to gold lane. marksmans dont really go ahead of each other if they have tanks with them.
and so tips for masha users. pick her against mindless fighters like esme,balmond,argus, and thamuz. in the earlygame you might lose laning but in the lategame she can melt anyone with dps build( i dont personally like hp builds since her main purpose is to pressure towers)
my build that can melt anyone solo is
vampire mallet first item. corrosion-dhs-haas-goldenstaff-malefic roar-bruteforce/guardian helmet.
with that build she can instaburst bases under 3 seconds
From an argus main here, when he saya argus is weak in the eatly game and Just needs to be pushed (something like that) watch out. Argus with inspire (and 2nd skill) at the very early can kill you in a matter of seconds. Event thamuz with vengeance need to recall, so... Yea ik It sound dumb because i gave it away but thats true. And btw we (argus main) combo at the very early is to Just wait in the bush near our turret, wait for our passive and then when you feel comfortable with our minions and go forward we will use 2nd skill then inspire and attack you with the basic attack after that. But if he misses his 2nd skill you can be brave and push him

I am masha user this video help me alot btw it is very dangerous with vengeance and tank emblem it can one shot mm or squishy hero with ez and another combo i like to use is inspire and fighter emblem strong in 1v1 if u can paly carefully and reach there back line it will be a disaster for the enemy
If u can adjust to this things and protect yourself u can counter masha easily and wins against the enemy masha

i used inspire against his flicker.
i let him damage me as i passively hit him without first skill
his hp at 50% while i was at last bar. i turned on both inspire and first skill and proceeded to melt his hp

Yon can also kill thamuz above level 4 if you’re playing exp lane yin. Poke him with skill 1 and run away with skill 2. Make sure that the skill 2 ring hits since it stuns. Do it a few times and you get a half hp thamuz. Then you can ulti him and do your combo quick. The stun from his skill 2 will prevent him from activating his ulti early which means less heal. Then use execute (battle spell) when he’s low. Did it and it works. Maybe enemy thamuz was too overconfident in his ulti.
IMHO, thamuz baby "dyroth" ( a good one ofc) can actually stand ground against thamuz, especially after his last nerf , the physical armor reduction kicks like a mule ,and the sustain is pretty descent.
14:25 id say edith, she can clear waves fast enough to take very little damage from thamuz, and once she gets to lvl 4 trying to fight her even at a 2v1, sometimes even a 3v1, always ends in you dying, unless tge nemies have franco or kaja

Yeah, no, have not really put much reading on Edith's skill set and passive. Rarely encountered her too.
@@-device--057-2 if so, the reason why edith would be effective against thamuz is that she can clear minion waves very fast, like SCARY fast, especially for a tank, and she can easily poke thamuz with her 1st skill, if thamuz attacks, she can just dash away, if he blocks her way to the tower, thamuz will be flipped away from her path back to the tower, and once she gets to level 4, she can pretty much 1v1 almost any hero at that point( there are certainly exceptions ofcourse), mostly sustain heroes because she can just prioritize dominance ice as her first item, because whenever she uses her ult, she converts all extra phys def and mag res into magic power by 2.5( i think, ive forgotten if its 2 or 2.5), so she can pretty much just focus getting counter items for thamuz without having to lose much in terms lf damage, such as dominance ice( reduce his regen from spell vamp and from his ult), antique cuirass( for phys reduc), and oracle( to out sustain him even more)

As a Argus main, i hav overcomed his skills that doens't require me to hit multiple times anymore With atleast 3 items, squishy heroes are easily deleted with 1st skill-2nd skill-basic atk (with inspire ofc)

As a argus main, i cant disagree so that why i mostly use inspire and go with gold lane and I also always add demon hunter sword so that I can use its unique effect and also I always stay in the bush so if you want to counter always protect your damage dealer especially if it's a squishy hero

The hero that can bet thamuz at level 1 is freya and martis because they can fight any one at level 1 easily with they damage is so high and have more attack speed that mack them hard to fight at level 1
14:14 In my opinion, i feel like dyrroth can handle thamuz well cus of dyrroth's lifesteal with the minions. I had one match, i used thamuz and enemy picked dyrroth and I had a really hard time dealing with him. Dyrroth's second skill can burst down thamuz easily. Dont take it too serious, this is my opinion and experience. :)

Phoveus is my go to hero when faced against Thamuz. Phoveus can exchange blows with Thamuz even at level 1 and when Phoveus reaches level 4, Thamuz wouldn't stand a chance against him.
Fun fact about balmond: I was the first one who use the damage build, balmond use to be a tank that deals no damage and can be killed easily even if he has tank items he can't sustain a 1v1 can't outdamge a squishy useless tank and ofcourse because it's lifesteal era ( before) he is the easiest hero to heal from super useless hero... Then I remember I quit playing ml in 2019 then when I came back he become strong fighter lol how heroes suddenly change.
Using any sustain fighter against argus will also not work if the user uses skill to poke him early game. Pro Argus will keep on poking until the enemy is forced to recall and if they don't, argus will turret dive and kill him. Making him farm much easier
I'd say for thamuz, terizla is the best counter for him though slow he still has a good sustain with damage

Every hero has a weakness, and most heroes shouldn't miss their skills, unless it a lock on, period.
As a roamer main, multiple CCs are enough to kill any heroes, with some added caveats of course.
The best counter for masha is lifesteal heroes like thamuz, alpha and dyroth or use tank shredders like karrie
i feel like masha isnt easy to counter and can 1 shot mages and mm or at least waste their frozen and wind of nature and using sprint gives her better way to chase or run but i use sprint in teamfight mostly to regen again also i like to use him as roamer from my 5 match experieces with 80% winrate

I always beat Thamuz with Hilda. Just regen in the bush and damage him whenever possible and in the end just finish with execute.

Balmond will never lack damage even with full defense. Even Cursed helmet does a lot

As being a dyyroth main :-Dyyroth can harass thamuz if he uses his second skill wisely and dyyroth every third basic attack will heal him so I think a good dyyroth can harass any exp laner
I used to main thamuz, and it's really easy to beat dyroth.
1: try to never fight dyroth near your minions, so his passive won't heal him as much.
2: don't let dyroth stack his passive rage on the crab.
3: save either skill 2 or vengeance to dodge dyroths ult Or deal more damage than he did to you.
4: get golden staff, corrosion scythe , dhs, then get dominance ice and antique cuirass. this way you will always have the advantage.
A good dyrroth definitely hurts but it gets beaten by a High and Dry Paquito. Paquito wont let a Dyrroth proc the passive due to the double knock up. A full combo with Hunter's strike kills Dyrroth 'cause Paquito will just combo in and out, already tried it. A Benedetta can also wipe the floor with Dyrroth. I' ve also seen Esme beat Dyrroth at MPL a bunch, due to difference in micro plays.

I got Thamuz multiple times in exp lane early game using Zilong with inspire. The enemy Thamuz was all confused what happened.
If I‘m not mistaken Thamus can‘t regenerate by hitting a shield. He has to hit your HP bar to benefit from his lifesteal. So if I‘m not completely wrong Esmeralda is another very good pick because she has enough shield drain to sustain most of his damage with it plus she can kite him very well because of her movement speed. At least I had no problems with her fighting Thamus in any phase of the game
his ult depends on basic attacks, not lifesteal, so he will still regenerate ho with basic attacks while hitting a shield.
with golden staff, dhs, corrosion scythe and antiheal, esme will die quite quickly.
also, as thamuz has multiple slow abilities, a jump, a sprint+(30%more mvt speed) and a short version of alus passive, esme can't kite him.

A good esme will always draw or even beat a thamuz as long as the skills of the players are the same. Plus a Dyrroth will wreck Thamuz, heck even Phoveus wrecks Thamuz. Thamuz isnt highly picked nowadays.
@@dgagamingaesir i've kited so many thamuz players with Esme. Remember Thamuz needs to hit while Esme just spams shield and dance. A good Esme will cut thamuz's wave at lvl 2 since she can outrun him, esme's meta spell is Sprint so there's no way thamuz can hit. Once esme gets Dominance Ice and Enchanted Talisman in addition to Oracle, its hard to kill without burst and hard CC's.

One way to counter argus is building items or using heroes with slow (Ice queen wand, or angela's annoying slow)

I think in a 1v1 Balmond and Terizla with vengeance spell can win against Thamuz at level 1 because both of them have high damage and sustain during the early game, all they need to do is play strategically to win. For Balmond, he just needs to fight Thamuz with the minions, during their 1v1 Balmond can heal from killing the minions. Terizla has high damage during the early game, he just needs to poke Thamuz.
with corrosion scythe, terizla can't run from thamuz, so he loses badly.
and this was my experience before terizla got killed by the nerf
bro 1v1 mean you dont use advantages and fight ur enemy alone (this applies to the enemy as well), what ur stating isn't even a 1v1, is more like pressuring thamuz instead

Thamuz is weak against Clint on level 1 alone. Level 2 as well. The only thing that makes him have an advantage is close range and slowness. Both of which Clint can easily avoid. Hell, any hero can avoid his attacks at it becomes predicable
yu zhong can , yu zhong passive will be able to drain his hp. l main yu zhong and was being able to kill him many times . However only in early game , late game he is another monster.
Talking about thamos ,dragen alien man. Well man think about dyroth he is monster in 1 on 1 I am pretty sure no one can kill him in level 1

I think freya can fight with thamuz in early game cuz her early game potential is high.+ she has stun abilities and some knock up effects with her skills😅😅
I found Ruby its a pretty good counter against Argus. And if i move good enough i could counter Thamuz
I think Terizla can eat up Thamuz because he can Dish a huge amount of dmg while regen with minion waves

To be honest I think heroes that can counter thamuz in the early is yu zhong or balmond because of their continues damage and life steal
I have a video idea, i really like to play tank but maybe you can make a video when you need to pick witch tank like 4/5 heros phy pick johson or grock and do it than with every tank no body had done that
When picking a tank, its not about what damage type the enemy has, its about synergy with ally picks and skills that counters enemy heroes. For example, when there's Atlas, Khufra etc., heroes with cc's, best pick to use is a tank Diggie as a counterpick. Another would be if ally picks a slow moving hero like Barats, go pick Mathilda or Rafaela.
Reached MG at multiple seasons already with learning just the meta picks and counters. Also learned alot of different rotations from watching MPL.

I main masha and many do that mistake of trading blows and no matter who you are you'll lose. One the the characters that completely makes masha useless beyond saving is kimmy
bro i think atlas is more of a counter.Kimmy basic attck cn be countered but not atlas slowdown effect

I main Masha and Kimmy doesn't work. Kimmy gets one shotted by Masha easily. Plus, my job would be to just ult Kimmy and If I cant go for the kill, i just go out. The goals is to make Kimmy low enough to be afraid to hit you're allies. No marksman works against Masha in the Meta because an ult from Masha and one spell kills the Mage or Marksman thus it becomes very annoying to deal with.

As a thamuz main in exp lane, joy can destroy thamuz at level 1. also the characters that gives a hard time for thamuz at level 1 are masha, martis, arlott, barats, hilda, paquito, and guinevere

Zilong easily counters Thamuz if u have the right build.Zilong can get close and deal crazy dps as well as lifesteal with his ult.And to top it all off,he can clear minion waves very fast by reseting his 2nd skill
