hi..great review :D i just want to ask..is this thing durable? do you encounter any brocken ? i bought godox softbox and some of the sticks broken..thanks
Nice review. Did you consider pulling out the built in speedlight diffuser on the TT600? I think this should allow for wider zoom of 14mm. It would be interesting to see the effect and also removing the inner diffusion layer of the octobox as well.
Thank you for this video. I was battling with finding a budget softbox to start with and honestly you might have just saved me from making a big mistake. I'm definitely getting the bowels mount version of this light. I'm just turn between the 90cm or the 65cm version. Which would you recommend for video work I.e interviews, corporate videos and short films? I only have the budget for one light and Softbox, so I want to get something that covers all my bases for starters.
Watching this all the way from south africa.. i have a canon 2000D.. im still a beginner, this vedio helped me so much now i know what to.buy.. and how to use it
@@arteenfocofotografia I have this softbox. Its easy to open it up and close down Just follow the instruction given on amazon. Com for this product. The metal rod looks sturdy to me but it all depends on how u use it. Make sure to follow the instructions.
Thanks for sharing this review! I am thinking about buying this softbox but am worried that my flash won't be strong enough. I have a Speedlite 430ex III-rt and I use a canon r10 with a 35mm 1.8 and a 50 mm 1.4. I want to shoot portraits outside. Do you think it will work?
Nice review, very ustfull...short and clear! I've seen a review other brand and the 90cm proved to project more light...have u make some test comparing 65cm with 90cm...
@@EricGibaud Eric I did my homework and this is how it is: there are 2 versions of mounts - the old one as in your video that does not support V1 (KS series of Triopo) and the wide new one that does (KX series). So we are both right! Thanks for you video.
Amazing review. Using the light meter to measure the output of the center and sides of the softbox was a genius idea. Thanks!
You can use metal disc from godox ad s17 on your ad200 to get more power. Just take out the plastic diffuser which is hold by screws.

Hi, thanks, no I did not because doing so, usually gives specular light
can i remove that flash mount and replace with a bowens mount?
There is a different version for Bowen mount
I'm told the latest version does not have the handle?
excellent, very good and comprehensive
Thank you!
Does it have a bowens mount replacement or adaptor?

Can you also use a studioflash like a bowens ?

Hello. Yes, no problem
Thanks so much for this vid. You are awesome
Thank you!!
How do I attach this to a tripod? What mount do I need?
On a tripod no, on a light stand yes, you take out a screew at the botom of the handle and you can insert the light stand.
Sir. really nice video. Can i ask u 1 question. which light stand u suggest for a TT685 GOdox flash. i like it budget and simple

Does it allow to fix the round head flash such as Godox VS1 Pro and AD 300pro?
Hello, You need the Bowen mount version for that and use the Godox S2 holder
Thanks a ton! Do you happen to have a link to the hand grip shown in this video?
The hand grip is included with the softbox
Thanks. I thought my softbox was faulty until I saw your video. Awesome 👍
Thank you for your comment

Is this a good idea to buy for newbie youtuber? I'm not plannning for photoshoot. I'm planning to buy this for video shoot.
Yes, but for continuous light you need a version with Bowens mount

Is there a grid for this triopo?
Hello yes.
Is the size enough, dont you think its too small?
It is fine for portrait, there are larger ones too
Will this Triopo octanos works with my 430 EX III RT speed lite?
Hello. Yes it fits
Ive got godox tt685 should i buy 65cm or 90?
Hi, have you bought either yet? I’m trying to make the decision now!
Can i use it for godox sl60w?
I don't know, not sure about the size of the Godox you mention
No you cant use a SL60W
Yes, you can, but you have to get Bowens mount version. This softbox has 2 versions, the bowens mount version and the speedlight handle version.
thank you for the review! There´s a 55cm version too my friend. Regards
Thank you for mentioning it! regards

Hello! I'm afraid Eric misleads you. As far as I know it does fit V1 by Godox.
well, several people have tried and it does not seems to, so they buy the Bowens version and use adapter

I prefer softbox as light is better controlled.
