What program do you use to make the hologram with the notes? Keyframing masks everytime the hands go over it doesn't seem feasible Edit: Apparently it's called "Embers", and it also seems to follow your piano's movements, it's impressive honestly
I actually don't think he answered your question properly. I looked up embers and it just refers to the notes and the effects, but does not address how the embers are displayed over the piano as if it was a hologram. I have the same question as you because compared to other videos where pianists overlay two different videos to get the effect (usually involving a birds-eye view of the actual piano so that they can match it with the midi visualizer), this video LOOKS like 1 video with a real display; I say this because not only are the hands passing over the notes, but the display itself shakes with the piano which would not occur (or would be difficult to recreate) if it was edited in. However, it HAS to be edited in because it's counterintuitive design to have a transparent screen that would block access to the buttons on the piano dashboard.
@@SadFace201 I thought that part required no explanation... He edits the background out, probably using keylighting or similar tool and then changes the angle of the embers video and syncs it with the playing. Of course it is editen in. For the record, there is this type of file called MIDI. It has all the information like which keys are being pressed, for long and how much pressure is put into each of them (velocity) so you know how intense the sound is. When he plays the song he records it and the output is a MIDI file, which he then just opens embers and it displays these falling notes you see eveyhwhere on youtube nowadays. It used to be done on Synthesia and edited with after effects, which took forever to render, but you have many options now with all sort of colors, light and particle effects.
This is important. Thank you! Q: Where can I buy the piano? A: The piano model is Roland JUNO-DS88. The MIDI display was made using effects, not a real screen.
Such elegance when playing the piano!
Superb arrangement man!
I agree with you, this song is very difficult to arrange on piano.
Wish I had just a fraction of your skill and expertise. Been loving your content so far, keep it up!
I am very impressed at the begining part. Those off keys are hard to catch by ears

embers is just a midi visualizer (same I use in my videos), just like synthesia.
Does he manually mask his hand every time it passes through the hologram notes? It seems like a hassle to do

What side you're? Westalis or Ostania?
We've come to an age where smashing of random notes followed with something catchy is commonplace now.
