He did changed the angle once (from the left side) in Shakukan medly, he said try out something new ... But eventually he fixed this angle, and it's still perfect.
I spend a ridiculous amount of time to fine tune the pedaling. Half pedal, quarter pedal etc. Playing this piece without the left hand bass sounding too muddy is really a challenge.
It's definitely quite rare to see Animenz uploading a seasonal song, not to mention 2 videos in the same week. Amazing arrangement tho, those jumps are crazy fast!

This is the first song released in my lifetime that has genuinely blown me away. Best anime opening of the year, I'm calling it. It's been the one of the few openings I've not skipped over, and it seems that even the creators knew this as well, considering only the endings changed when entering a new arc but the opening stayed the same throughout the 24 episode run. I really do wonder what the season 2 opening is going to look and sound like since this one is so good! Brilliant cover as always Animenz! Now we just need someone to do a full English cover and then we can sing along!

absolutely love the Tokyo Revengers op one of my all time favorites in quite sometime actually so i love seeing all the love the op/song gets im glad they chose not to change the op as long as they have been keeping it so far cus its a pretty good one to keep the whole season.

Probably it will be "Kaibutsu" because he said he'll do seasonal anime and it's also from Yoasobi, so there's only two options, Kaibutsu or Yasashii Yuurei. But Kaibutsu is way more famous
Love the left hand tremolo you use as introduction of the song instead of just octave notes, the song has significant bassline in the background, but I feel many arrangement go to far to the extent that the bassline is somehow tedious and annoying to me, I think you make really good balance in that part, the bassline is pleasing and adding more color to the song, for example, I really like the sound effect you achieve at 0:51 and 2:58 , also at 2:56 I’m not sure if that’s chords or arpeggios , but I like that. But at 2:09 especially the first three bass notes, I feel they’re not clean enough for my liking, and I was expecting something special at the end, since sometimes you add coda to songs to give them a concluding finale , but ending with tremolo is good as well ! Really appreciate your hard work, Animenz , your arrangement is always the best version of that song for me, no exception. I’m guessing we are getting YOASOBI’s Kaibutsu next week, btw, very looking forward to your arrangement of sakura nagashi, usually the older the song the better the arrangement will get, I guess that’s because you have time trying different variation, so take your time !

By far my favorite arrangement for this piece, might be just me but i feel like the left hand sounded different from any other arrangement you made.
The piano sounds like it has a life of its own when you play it, no one I've ever heard on this platform has ever come close to you when it comes to anime piano covers... You're definitely an institution of your own at this point
