GREAT continuity of purpose - he's always trying to get you on his email or customer list. If not, he's making sure you're in a Custom Audience on Facebook. The last piece would be to actually be using those Custom Audiences 😂😂😂

In this breakdown, you focused heavily on the FB pixels. Which pixels would you suggest are mandatory for an artist's webpage who is in the grassroots stage of their career?

Really great to see a positive example to follow! I was wondering though, are some of the strategies being used only appropriate for high-profile artists? I had always thought an up-and-coming indie would want to have music/video before the fold, social icons, and probably a bio, but do you recommend we focus on merch and email sign up instead?

Hey Circa, I’m an indie pro member! I currently have a wix site which I think will work well to capture email addresses as I know my way around it. However am worried about the e-commerce capabilities with regards to upsells, so would you suggest I have a separate shopify store that my wix site links to when you click on merch? Would appreciate the advice! Tom.
Hey Tom,
The Shopify store link-out strategy will work best. If you want to add upsell processes to your Shopify, use 1ClickUpsells by Zipify (their Shopify Page Builder is also flames). Wix is a really bad platform to build something serious on, so you'll eventually bump up against a need it can't provide. However, for now, a main Wix site and a Shopify you can link out to will do.

It goes to show what happens when you see the difference in a top end artist that put trust in someone that has full understanding of creating dopamine spikes over an intimate connection towards their fans on the website. But it’s crazy that the company didn’t do any retargeting on fb.
