    Your deadlift form was more of a rdl. For deadlifts you bend your knees like a squat and drive through your legs. Your weights should hit the ground making a dead stop when you pick it back up. You were using your back, not your legs that why you were having pain.

      Thanks for this. That was actually my first week at the gym so I was just going from random vids on TikTok. But overtime I did get the hang of it 😊
