As long as I can. I don't like to spend over $200 AUD a week for accommodation. About $60 a week for motorbike hire. (Cheaper if you rent it for longer than a week) Spending money I haven't really kept track. Sometimes I don't spend much and sometimes I go a bit over board.

Chiang Mai is definitely cheaper overall. But you can still find good priced drinks and food here. The difference isn't extremely noticeable.
