- Sir Rod Stewart has teamed up with his friend and fellow musician Jools Holland for a new album called Swing Fever.
Speaking to Sky's Niall Paterson, pianist Jools Holland revealed that Sir Rod rang him a couple of years ago and offered to team up, but he dismissed it as a 'prank call'.

I don't care how good a singer Rod Stewart is if he did not feel joy for swing music and love playing with Jools Holland and his band, including ex Squeeze alumnus Gilson Lavis, it would impact the record. These two guys click perfectly.
