I was diagnosed with a Motor Tic disorder as a young child, and I was diagnosed as adult 3 months ago (aged 31M), I struggled a lot socially while growing up, never really being able to hold more than 1 or 2 friends at a time. None of which I find I could be truly myself around (albeit my best friend, I can). I've been watching your videos and it really fills my heart to see the generation of teens & young adults below me being so accepting of each other and being unapologetically themselves, not feeling terrified of "outing" yourself as neurodivergent or having a Tic disorder. While I mourn what I could have had if the world was a bit more friendly and accepting if I were born 10 years later than I was. I love to see what social media can do you everyone nowadays, its so much easier to connect with likeminded people and find your crowd, to feel accepted. I myself have even managed to find a discord group with people just like me, which I know might sound like a silly statement, but it wasn't until 6months ago, I didn't think I could.
Absolutely loved this video, I also peaked a new pin on your lanyard and I absolutely loved it! I’ve always been nervous to wear my sunflower lanyard since it doesn’t seem as popular/accepted in the United States, so seeing someone I relate to being courageous enough to wear pins/lanyards to advocate for their health makes me hopeful that I can do it some day. The dance workshop took me straight back to year 1-5 (Kindergarten-5th grade) When we had golden time or we did well and they let us do just dance. If that was me I would likerally feel like a child once again. 💗💗I love your videos

Also I try very hard to not make this sound like negativity but rather constructive critisism but English is not my first language so if it comes across rude please know it wasnt meant to be!
Interesting that the new 2025 show about a young lady with Tourettes, "Baylan Out Loud," has an episode where Baylan is asked to be on a panel at "Tic-Com," and she speaks of it as if she had no prior association with the conference. However, watching this documentary of a 2023 Tic-Com, I see Baylan was there at the conference.

@@E-MCH8PANDAS can cause tics so if you have PANDAS then it would be causing that, not Tourettes. You can have tics without it being Tourettes
