- Helping others understand disorders of the corpus callosum is part of the mission of the NODCC. Our video series was created so people could hear from the families and individuals who live with the disorders. This video features Sarah Mellnik, a beautiful woman who works hard every day to reach her goals and knows raising awareness will help many people.
This is absolutely amazing. Doesn't matter it took her six years, she reached the finish line and with a 4.0 GPA.
Wow. Truly inspirational. When my third daughter was still in the womb, we were referred to a perinatal specialist in OKC. They knew something was off with her brain, but didn't quite know what. After she was born, they did an MRI and found out she has Complete Agenesis. I was worried at first, but as she grows up, I know she will be able to do anything. I'll make sure to show her this video when she grows up. (She is only 9 months right now, and living it up.)

@@pamalv8604 Seven years old, almost eight. Just started 2nd grade after being top of her school in reading and math 1st grade.
Thank you Sarah for sharing your story.I can't wait to show it to my daughter, also Sarah😊.She is borned with parcial ACC and she is now ten years old.She also has learning difficulties,school is hard,she can feel that she is different snd social aspect is most heart breaking.
My daughter Megan who is almost 16 was born with Partial ACC. Megan is mainstreamed in 4 out of 6 classes during her school day. Her favorite subjects are History, Science, Art History, Health and currently taking Drivers Ed. She has had tutors and nannies since the first grade because in her mind parents aren't supposed to help with homework. I don't think Meg will ever drive a car but the class is mandatory for the 10th grade. She seems to really enjoy the class and tells me how to drive which is funny. At least once a week she'll shut down and refuse to do homework due to brain overload. Sometimes she will just go to her room and after being by herself for awhile she'll come back downstairs. Her 3 closest girlfriends are in AP classes which is different but they've been together since kindergarten and just seems natural. I've been thinking about coming to a conference so does anyone know when and where the next one will be held?

I love Sarah, in so many ways, she has touched my heart and my soul, I feel blessed to have met her a few times in my life... in real life my name is Laura Ours.. I have this name Zolwena only for you tube... it is a name I used to use in games I played from way back... Huggles to Sarah!

43 and born with C ACC and septo optic dysplasia. blind in one eye.
I still have ALOT of trouble reading people's emotions and it often results in an aregument :(

How your old daughter is doing in social and academic life? Does she has any disability? Thank you
