@@reasun_pgh wrong? how is this wrong but sampling isnt? the both work on the fundamental premise that technology changes the way we make music. There is a saying that a song has 10,000 other songs buried in it, thanks to technology we can use a song or voice as an instrument to make more songs. in this case the only wrong thing would be not paying someone to use their actual voice or music, however if they can use jay's voice to generate another voice that sounds a bit similar then that'd be more interesting

Look people... Ai Will never replace the feeling, blood, sweat, tears and emotion of a human. But what Ai can do is give us a "what if" window for possibilities. In other words. Humans are using Ai for a very human reason. To express and expand our imaginations. And you can't get more human than that.
Instead of being terrified by how ai is developing and how well it has gotten, I am extremely excited. I can't wait to see what the future holds.
It will be amazing and very helpfull for a long time BUT that time will come to an end when A.I gets too good!

This song is fire. I don’t care what anyone says. As scary as it feels it equally feels groundbreaking. This is what it felt like to start using turntables and samplers to make hip-hop. We should find a way to embrace it. Especially when it’s good like this.

You can tell how close we came to this sound in earlier hip hop but AI is just showing us what a perfect sample and verse with it is as far as melody. This is some scary good shit in the weirdest way possible, sounds so emotionally human driven.

AI basically only handled text-to-speech to take tonal characteristics of Jay-Z's voice and inflections. Other than that, I can guarantee it sounds good not because of A.I., but because 20syl edited, chopped, arranged, pitch corrected, etc. all of those bounced out text-to-speech audio files no different than a producer sampling an instrument.
Text-to-speech software is getting really good, but it's way more than just going to some 'AI' and telling it to generate a song for you.
